    The breakfast was very good. The room was a bit smaller that we are used to. There was somewhere to sit but it was not a place that was suitable for drying my hair and putting on make-up as the only mirror was not nearby. Anyway, we managed okay. Staff were very accommodating. We hadn't eaten that afternoon but we were told we could have a take-away in the bar. Therefore, a few doors down from the hotel we got a really lovely Chinese Take-Away.

    The owners were very helpful and kind. We showed up with three children age 10 and twins aged 6. The room was a good size. I saw that the rating was really high, and decided to go for it in choosing this hotel and it was well worth it. I anyone is looking for a nice place to stay I would recommend it. We are vegetarian and they made us an excellent breakfast. Parking was excellent as was the communication.

    The breakfast was fantastic The room had alll the quality's looking for in a 1 night break, i stayed in a single bed. The shower was a lovely power shower, and had shower gel, shampoo and conditioner for guest use. Everything worked in the room which was a joy I have stayed in some horrible hotels and guesthouses - this is one of the best I have stayed in

    The White House is in a lovely location with nice views and ample parking. The hotel was very modern and beautifully decorated throughout. Our room was spacious with a large en-suite and a fantastic powerful shower! Very large comfy bed with quiet surroundings we had 2 peaceful nights sleep. Large selection of breakfast items, freshly cooked to order.

    I liked everything there . Adele and Geoff the owners of the hotel where amasing people, very friendly. Recomended to all my colleagues as this place is the best in Peterlee, even in Durham area :) Rooms were big and clean, all you need was there. Nice large shower, tv with netflix :) was quiet overnight. Another 10 for the breakfest . Bravo!

    Excellent breakfast, good choices available. The hotel room was comfortable and had everything needed. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was perfect to enable us to visit Seaham, Welfare Park, the Royal Navy Museum and Heugh Battery Museum at the Headland.

    Breakfast was lovely. All freshly cooked by the owner. The room we had was the courtyard studio - situated on its own in the hotels beer garden. The room was very modern, clean, had everything we needed. The TV was the biggest I’ve seen in a hotel room.
