Vikentios Rooms are located at the southern and central part of the island which is very convenient as you can easily reach the central route that connects almost every part of the island within 15-20 minutes by car.
The room was cozy and comfortable having a wonderful garden with flowers around it.
The staff was very warm and helpful. They offered us jam and a bottle of wine from their own farm when we arrived.
Very well equipped having everything that we needed.

This charming and well decorated apartment was the perfect place to stay while visiting Kythira. A wonderful terrasse for meals outdoors, a hammock for lazy afternoons, and an easy drive to many of the sites to visit on the island. The owner was very friendly and attentive, and very kindly gave us some of her homage biscotti and jam as a gift. We loved staying here!

There's some British history there, with a memorial to HMS Gloucester, which sank in May 1941, and a quarantine station from around a century earlier in the adjoining bay. The Chora of the island with its Venetian castle rises about 150 metres above Kapsali bay: a 30 minute climb on foot, or a 5 minute journey by car. Car parking in Kapsali is straightforward; for the Chora a large car park above the town removes the necessity to navigate the narrow streets.
