Our stay at Adama was exceptional. The accommodations were beautiful. A minimalist, stylish yet warm and cozy nook hidden amidst the beauty of the mountains and trees. We enjoyed the peaceful setting, beautiful sunrise and sunsets from our large windows overlooking the ocean as well as the warmth of the fireplace at night, after a day of discovering, hiking and sightseeing.
Adama is conveniently located near many restaurants, supermarkets and local towns making it a central location to experience the beauty of Pelion.
Our host was attentive and helpful with all our requests and was readily available to make our stay memorable.
I highly recommend Adama for adults looking to relax and enjoy some alone time in nature.

Very nice apartments and friendly hosts. The decorations are very traditional and the space is very charming. The kitchen was very good equipped and we had a small garden for ourselves.

We visited Mouresi in April when it was in full spring bloom and was low season as the high season is summer when people come to enjoy the beach. We were there to walk the ancient paths that criss-cross the peninsula between villages that date from centuries of use by the people that have lived there. It is a quaint rural area of Greece! There is not a lot of cultural sightseeing...just quaint villages and windy hairpin turn roads with the ocean and beaches, making for a laid-back vacation. We were there to hike but it would be too hot in the summer.

Mouresi is a classic small greek village.
Very quite.
The church square is the heart of everything.
There is a family owned restaurant adjacent to the church. They have both inner and outer table which is great. They serve tasty local dishes. Each day have new surprises which we tasted and enjoyed.
The location is great as it is close to great beaches. It is also close to many walking trails and other villages worth visiting like Makriniza.

The adjoining villages of Tsagarada - Mouresi are ideal for those who wish to combine the coolness of the forest during the summer with soaking up the sun in the beaches down below. And if that's not enough for you, the area is renown for its excellent restaurants/taverns which offer a wide variety of tastes. Two pieces of advice from me: either travel with a more compact car (i.e a Toyota Yaris) or be prepared for considerable difficulties parking your car. Also, keep in mind that the local roads are windy, narrow and at some places the incline is steep. It doesn't make for easy driving. Also, you should bring along either a sturdy pair of trail shoes and/or sports sandals. Even if you plan on not walking on any of the many forest trails, visiting the local beaches requires some ammount of walking upon trails/traditional stone stairs. This is an area which is not suited for those who suffer from any kinetic disabilities.

Beautiful village, but would prefer to stay elsewhere next time. Provided you travel with car, I would recommend staying in a nearby villages e.g. Tsangarada which has many more accommodation and eating options.

It is a nice location if you like to hike in the mountain or don't might driving to the beaches in the area. It offers more mountain than sea and faces northeast, being located on the northeastern slope of Pelion Mountain. If you want more sandy beaches, choose a location in the southern part of the peninsula but if you prefer charming villages and hiking, Mouresi is a nice location and it does have rocky but beautiful beaches around. The better and faster road to the village from Volos is through Ano Lechonia, Kala Nera and Neochori. The place to eat is Tavernaki Vontzos - do not misjudge it because of being on the main road almost outside of the village, these people can cook. Opposite this taverna is a small shop with delicious honey. Regardless of how many maps and apps you have, when in Mouresi, don't shy away from asking for directions - the hiking paths regularly lead you to someone's backyard or olive grove so getting from A to B can be tricky while you are learning your way around. Most locals only speak Greek so learn a few words; in the restaurants and shops, you can cope with English. Getting to Agios Ioannis by foot can probably be done in half an hour if you take the right paths or follow the road for cars. Damouchari is not much farther - it is nice for a late lunch in the afternoon with a lovely view and the beach is quite cozy; Tsagarada is also close. If you have a car, the bay of Fakistra is worth a visit. The best beaches around are considered to be Papa Nero (next to Agios Ioannis) and Chorefto (by car through Makrirrachi) but all beaches in this area of Pelion are more rocky and can often have big waves.

Mouresi is a few minutes drive to Damouchari and Papa Nero beaches, both of which are beautiful. From there you can walk to Agios Ioannis for great beach tavernas, bars. The whole area is stunning and clean and the local people are incredibly friendly, which made us feel very welcome. This is probably due to the low level of tourism - it has a very relaxed and laid back feel.
We loved everything about our stay ay Olga Hotel: Mr Dimitris is an excellent host, with very good tips on places to visit and where to eat; Ms Anna is an magnificent cook – we couldn’t wait to taste her lavish and varied homemade breakfast every morning. The rooms are very stylish and perfectly clean and the mattress is very comfortable. The location of the hotel is ideal, as it is close to the beach and also to the main villages of Pelion. We couldn’t recommend Olga enough.
A wonderful place, the house is wow, the view takes your breath away, and the hosts are beyond compare. Best location possible, near the top most beautiful beaches in Pelion
We have never encountered such remarkable people. They spoiled us with small culinary treats and made sure we lacked nothing, ensuring our accommodation was comfortable throughout our vacation. Furthermore, they even presented us with a gift upon our departure. We feel honored to have met them
This is a really nice hotel run by really amazing people. It is a bit difficult to fine, but communication with the host is great and he will tell you exactly where you need to go. The breakfast is exceptional! They grow all they food and cook a really delicious and special breakfast. They also provide recommendations of what to visit and where to eat. I would definitely stay there again if I can :)
Our stay at Kalderimi was exceptional. Mrs. Elisavet and Mr. Xenofon were very friendly and always at our disposal and, combined with Mrs. Demy's care and cooking, our experience was amazing! Our room (the Mountain) was so cozy, warm and inviting, that it was hard to leave even for Pelion's unsurpassed nature and hiking trails. We hope we will have the opportunity to return soon!
The owner was very helpful and kind, he answered all our messages quickly and left for us fruits, juice and wine. There is the most amazing view from the house and it gets comfortably cool in the evening, we didn’t even need to use the AC. It’s a great location for exploring eastern side of Pelion by car, plus there are tavernas, a shop and a bakery few minutes on foot away.
Perfect escape from busssiness of mass tourisam! Calm, extremely kind and ready to help host. Excellent choise for those who want to enjoy in quiete, relaxing and easy summer holiday. Nearby hotel beach (with sunbads and umbrelas) is not crowded, with magnificent quality of water and breath taking view. Great choise of greek food with reasonable prices in near by taverns.
The place is so relaxing and so well organized. The room was specious (and we took the smaller room), Cosy and absolutely beautiful. The view is breath-taking. The room, the pool, the common area were all very clean. The location is great, at an easy distance from everything you want to do to in east Pelion. Breakfast was excellent! One of the best I had in Greece…
- spacious and clean, also cleaned daily by a lovely lady;
- beautifully decorated;
- large terrace and a great sea view;
- proximity to the best beaches in Pelion. We went to 5 beaches and 4 of them were at most 30 min away by car;
- last but not least, the hosts, especially Eleni, were really nice and helpful.
Definitely recommend this place.
The only good point is the view from the balcony which I could hardly enjoy because of the noise of the
neighbours and the one of the machine for sawing wood that begins at 9 AM. It is sad to
see that part of the original pines have already been deforested near the hotel.
Good location to base your stay in Pelion as you can get around to all the spots. The rooms are very nice. The service is exceptional, all thanks to Ms Katerini. Without her, our stay would not have been the same.
The view from the balcony is amazing, it's a great way to start each day.
The family that operates the hotel is super helpful and friendly.
The apartment is fully equipped with everything you need.
Exceptional hotel room and breakfast. Owners went out of their way to help us out considerably. Highly recommended to everyone if you're in the Northern Pelio area. Will return soon.
Location was excellent, near all the nice beaches of Pelion and near Tsagarada. The facilities were great and it was very clean and fresh! Very quiet also and with parking available.
Best place to stay!
Best breakfast! You can’t get a better anywhere!!!!
Best view!
Most comfortable bed ever in a hotel.
This place will give you pure bliss!
