the free shuttle bus service is excellent and I appreciated...

the free shuttle bus service is excellent and I appreciated being so close to the airport as it made my onward journey much easier. The price for a room for one person was 239 euros, which I find extortionate whether or not this is what hotels in Dublin charge. The breakfast was a buffet which was very disappointing. I expected table service for breakfast at this price. The food had been picked over and it was just not good enough. the reception staff on arrival were excellent and welcoming. The restaurant staff were lovely. Drinks and food are overpriced in my opinion.

Santry was ideal for us as it was close to the airport yet...

Santry was ideal for us as it was close to the airport yet only 20-30 minutes by bus from Dublin. We had lunch in the on-site restaurant, and although it took longer than expected for our pizza, all the food was well prepared and tasty. Staff was accommodating, providing fans for the room as requested, and check-in & -out was a breeze.

Santry is NOT a destination!! It is a near-airport hotel!

Santry is NOT a destination!! It is a near-airport hotel! Anyone staying more than one night would go to Dublin or other areas of Fingal, but there is not much in Santry other than the shopping center and DUB airport!!

We were there purely for attending the Santry Sports Clinic and it was well located for this purpose. There also seemed to be regular shuttles to the airport. We ate in the restaurant and enjoyed our meals. The staff were great.

A standard chain hotel with a high price. The dinner was not very good. Not bad -- but totally unexceptional for the price. At breakfast there was a great choice, but the hot food was sitting there for a ages -- eggs were like rubber. This is OK, but not in a place that calls itself first class. One thing needed for the beds: A top sheet and a blanket. All they have is a duvet quilt, which gets too hot, but there is nothing to use as an alternative. The staff at the front desk and elsewhere were great!

We booked the Holiday Inn Express (Dublin Airport), due to arriving back very late from a trip to Italy. To our surprise, we were informed that the Hotel had closed and that we were being 'upgraded' to the neighbouring Crowne Plaza. The upgrade was superb, with a magnificent breakfast, wonderful room and great facilities. The staff were all very courteous and nothing was a problem.

As an airport hotel it met expectations. Our room was small with not much of a view. Our kids had a "family room" with a larger room for the parents and a smaller one with bunks for the kids. They loved it; and that room had a fantastic sunset. Staff were universally friendly. Parking was in a basement, but secure.

The room was well equipped with coffee, a small fridge, comfy bed, and chargers for my electronics. I booked this hotel because it had an airport shuttle and the price was fair. The airport shuttle did not disappoint! The driver was friendly and punctual.

Room was very contemporary, nicely furnished. Although the airport shuttle had broken down, the hotel had made arrangements for taxis's to take us to the airport at the hotel's expense. So we did not lose any time getting to the airport.
