Amazing backdrop to wake up to. A spacious farm house, surrounded by a well kept farm bearing fruits and red mountains. No neighborhood may not be for many but if you are looking for peaceful getaway, this is the place. Houses a nice Lil pool to relax and a fireplace to make the evening lit. The kitchen is fully equipped and provides ease of eating indoors and outdoors. The staff is helpful and the owners are very cooperative. We requested for early check in and got it without a fuss. A few things in house were not working and the owner got it fixed immediately. All in all, a place worth recommending for anyone planning a group visit to Alula.

The apartment we rented was comfortable, clean and spacious. The location was convenient with easy access to nearby attractions.
AboFaisal (the owner) was really helpful, it is so amazing to see a local serving other people with all modesty, concern and care as though we are his own family... he made sure our stay was as comfortable as it is... He was so helpful with our itineraries as well, explaining a lot of the history of Alula.
We will surely stay again in this suite.

Wonderful historic city with small fort to climb and local heritage Centre. Take the opportunity to drive out from the city to get a real sense of the Arabian landscape especially Hegra. There are many hidden gems you can only really discover if you take a rental car - 4x4 mostly recommended for hire at the airport. Driving very easy.

The guides in Hegra are the best thing about the area.
The guides in Hegra are the best thing about the area. They are well informed and welcoming of visitors.
Al Ula overall was a disappointment this time. I had previously visited 10 years ago when there was basically nothing for tourists other than one hotel and Hegra. It’s nice to have more options now, but most of the places visited, dined with, or stayed in were charging very premium prices for average or less services. I definitely saw and experienced less of the actual place than when it was undeveloped, aside from what the Hegra guides showed. A big part of that is the barriers to doing just about anything there unless you reserve and pay up in advance. When locations are spaced apart and people run on vacation time, it’s annoying to have to fix reservations for everything. There are few walk up options, even in less crowded times. It seems a place for the less adventurous and more those who want to hang out inside a resort.
Hopefully places can find their way on service levels and become overall more competitive with the luxury desert experiences in the UAE or the more traditional leaning camps in Jordan. It’s a great area inhabited by really nice people. Those should be the faces visitors see.

We were unsure what to expect but AlUla has completely charmed us. The locals were incredibly kind and friendly and we always felt like we could approach anyone for a chat and a laugh. I was nervous about not wearing an abaya but was never made to feel bad. I would advise ladies to bring one along and just see how you feel about not wearing it. We loved the Hegra tour and the OlD Town was absolutely charming.

AlUla is fabulous - if you get a chance, you should definitely go. Transport is an issue - so a car or tour would be best, though I did it with taxis etc and it was fine, just requires a few logistics! A fabulous place to stay and amazing sights to see, with trendy and cool venues/restaurants - in addition to friendly people. It's sort of aimed at the luxury end - but I did more middling, and definitely possible!

The area is in a unique geographical and geological setting, surrounded by 500 million-year-old sandstones. These sandstones shed light on the unique palaeoenvironmental conditions that existed during the deglaciation of the Gondwanan supercontinent in the Ordovician and early Silurian periods. On top of that, there is the presence of the ancient Nabatean civilisation, which settled in this region in the late Bronze Age. Their relics speak of a thriving culture, making this place truly magical. As a result, taking a vacation in this region is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Al Ula provides spectacular scenery, archeological taste,...
Al Ula provides spectacular scenery, archeological taste, amiable weather and a lot of tourism attractions. The city is is well organized, specially the old city area, which is worth visiting at night. Some of the attractions require special permits which is a hassle snd disappointment if you dont get them in advance. It is more costlier to shop, dine and move around in Al Ula than most of other cities in Saudi Arabia.
The owner, Mr. Nasser is very accommodating and polite person. The building is a quiet place perfect for those who want to relax after a day’s activities and well equipped with lightings. The room is spacious, very clean, neat and tidy. Shower, heater, ac, beds and furnitures are all in perfect condition. It exceeded more than our expectations. By the way, the owner is also offering car rental. If given the chance to be back in Al Ula, I will still choose to stay here again. Thumbs up to the owner and the hotel!👍🏻💯 miya miya!
Our group of 4 friends had a fantastic stay! The property included free airport transfers, and in addition, the host was so accommodating and offered us a personalized taxi service during our 5-day stay free of charge, taking us wherever we wanted during our time there. We definitely cherished the warmth and hospitality and we are so grateful to have had such a memorable experience for our first visit to Saudi! The property is a short ride from Al Ula Old Town, with grocery stores near by. The apartment was spacious and clean.
1. Friendly staff who even went the extra mile to serve our needs.
2. The location was excellent. The winter park and Hegra are both less than a 15-minute drive from this place.
3. Since this place is actually a farm, the eco-agri-tourism aspect of our stay was just surreal.
4. The rates we paid, although personally for me, were a little expensive, theirs can actually be considered cheap with regards to the rates of most accommodations you can scout for in Al Ula.
An amazing stay in a exceptional fantastic hotel, where everything, you may imagine, is well prepared. Details were meticulously managed. We didn`t need to contact anyone to get what we need, they surprisingly deliver every tiny requirement without us to bother asking. Special thanks and appreciation to the house-keeping team, I`ve never seen such efforts along of my world-wide travels. I definitly will repeat visiting this paradise as much as I can.
With a rented car from the airport and a whatsapp link of the adress from the landlord, it is very easy to find. You can park your car just outside the house. The place is clean, practical, good space in the rooms, it has a good refridgerator, a waterboiler, two cups and bed sheets. And a TV if you are in Al Ula to watch it :-) But you need to bring your own towels and toilet paper. There are no shops or restaurants in walking distance.
Keeping in mind that this is not a 5 star boutique hotel, there were many things i liked about this place:
1) Convenient in Al Ula for a very reasonable price
2) big house divided into multiple, separate units each with its own door (apartments)
3) very clean, very cozy, excellent for a small family or solo traveller
4) Has the big old AC units that makes a humming sound that puts you to sleep immediately.
I already booked this hotel last year and I had an amazing experience. When I got back this year, I did not hesitate a second before booking it again. It is not usual to find so accommodating hotels. The tents are very comfortable, with electrical outlets and good beds. It is a little bit far from Al Ula, but the location is beautiful and you avoid the crowd of the city. Thank you again for having me.
Reasonable accommodation option in Al Ula - a 2-bedroom apartment in fair condition. Cleanliness was acceptable, location was fine, with some local facilities nearby. The air-conditioning was functioning well. A simple/basic washing machine was provided on request (although using nearby laundry shops perhaps serves better in reflection) as were towels (bathroom toiletries were rudimentary though).
The apartment is in a quiet residential area far away from the center, but the owner will get you everywhere by his car. I had just one day in Al Ula, but I got to see a lot. Abu Ali picked me up at the airport and drove me around the main tourist sights and back to the airport for extra 200 SAR. Getting a taxi would be much more expensive. Also, you get to see how common people live in Saudi Arabia.
It was a very very clean, fresh and nice tent. It was cool at night in March so we used the heat. We had an excellent night sleep maybe our best in Saudi Arabia. The separate bathroom was also clean and had great water pressure and shower. We were worried about sharing a bathroom but it was ok. The view and grounds were very scenic and it was nicely lit at night.
I stayed at sahary resort al ula for 2 nights. Stay was comfortable. Staff was courteous and prompt. Only issue was resort is having maintenence going on all over. Swimming pool was also closed due to maintainence. This was not mentioned before hand. Otherwise good place to stay with family.
We spent 1 night here and I must say it's excellent. The staff are helpful esp. Mr. Ashfaq. The room is comfortable. Cleanliness is perfect. Welcome drinks available and free water and tea. We're planning to come back again in Al Ula and sure we'll stay again here. 😊
This was max level middle east hospitality. The manager will bring you fruits and dates, and share a list of the main Al Ula attractions with all the info. Parking was easy. Very good value for the money in Al Ula.
The hotel does not have restaurant. And we cannot find any restaurants near the hotel. Since al ula is not a city where you can get uber/taxis easily except for tourist vehicles. it had been difficult for us.
The caravan site gave the most unique experience in the Al Ula desert. The sunset and sunrise were beautiful and spectacular. The food was nice and the gathering tent feels like you’re in the Arabian Nights.
Considering Sky Hotel was a fraction of the price of other accommodation in Al Ula I would stay here again. It was good for the price I paid. I liked the location. I walked into the Old Town from here.
Place is very clean and homey.
The host was hands-on with the our needs and went the extra mile to make our stay in Al Ula extraordinary and memorable. Will definitely stay there again next visit.
The view was good, there is parking, it's more affordable than other hotels in the area and the receptionist was very friendly. Bed was also comfortable.
