Oceanfront. Affordable. Clean. Well cared for. Although an older property, they take pride in keeping things clean. Lovely deck with sparkly lights hanging overhead. Linens smelled clean; like lavender. Fresh paint. There were workers replacing wood 2x4s on deck & stairs. And the ferns were a nice touch. Lorna was quick to respond & assist.

Carolina Beach is my favorite!!
Carolina Beach is my favorite!! Love the boardwalk and its accessibility. The restaurants and shops are wonderful. We go at least once a year, if not more often. We love that it is very dog friendly too.

We checked many websites of everything in Carolina Beach before going there. None of the websites said places were closed. When we arrived, almost everything was closed and we had nothing to do. The room was recently renovated, very clean, up to date, large. Our stay was blissful! Opened the sliding door to the sound of the ocean waves. It was delightful. Off season the choice of restaurants was limited, but there was still plenty to choose from. We had a small fridge and microwave in our room and so we had breakfast in our room. There are plenty of grocery stores to purchase from. Best vaca for us! Peaceful and relaxing just what we wanted.AAnonymous - 10Scored 10

The beach was clean and not crowded for this time of year - October. Many people had their pets on the beach but we did not travel with pets. The sand by the shoreline is very soft causing your feet to sink under the sand with each step. Very hard to get in and out of the water. The rest of the beach is nice and clean. It was not too crowded for a tourist spot. There are things to do on boardwalk and surrounding area for adults and children.AAnonymous

Charged for having a second vehicle. Family came from two different directions. Handicapped parking was a bit far from the door. Some sections of the railings going up the ramp to the office were shakey or completely missing. Hold little kids' hands! Prices were high, I thought. Not just here, but all along the NC and SC coast. Guess they are trying to make up for being shut down last year from covid. Almost $900 for 2 nights.BethUnited States of America

Every piece of our room was immaculate. Not a bit of stretch on this review. The staff was super friendly and I personally like it's a no smoking hotel of course but, also no pets aloud, which don't get me wrong I love pets deeply but, I've stayed in pet friendly hotels before and had dogs barking all hours of the night. I give this hotel 10 stars if I could.

This property at Carolina Beach went above and beyond to provide us not only with comfort and cleanliness, but professional curtesy that extended from General Manager, front desk, and housekeeping. The view was outstanding across the ocean. We have always searched out a Marriott property when we travel. Unfortunately, they are not always available.

The parking was right in front of the condo. Had a great stay!;)
