The Denver airport is the size of a city. It’s very difficult to get from one place to another. Not traveler friendly
There are not enough signs to direct you to check in , security offers two places to choose from . But is not on your boarding ticket
South west flight arrived too late for my connection.
They booked me the next morning. They refused to let me check a 50lb bag refused 3 times to help me find a hotel? I was left on my own. 3 agents said they did not
Know of hotels. BUT later discovered there’s a Westin at the airport I stayed there.i am 75. And Southwest left me to sleep in a chair at their counter with my bag
There were No electric in sight to charge my phone.

I had heard about Denver for so long, and was so excited to go. We did take one day-trip out for hiking ( trail, which I highly recommend) but Denver overall was a big disappointment. The smell of marijuana everywhere. So much traffic - travel time between locations was unpredictable. Downtown was scary!

There is a ton to do.
There is a ton to do. While 16th Street is really torn-up with construction, there is still a vibrance in Downtown that was really enjoyable. Sure, there are a few houseless individuals, as with most larger cities, but the area from the stadium to the Civic Center seemed safe enough for the thoughtful traveler.

Hotel hell. Do not stay here!!
Hotel hell. Do not stay here!! Our first room had shattered window. The second room someone was in there already. Couldn't check in till after 9pm because the office was closed for a break. The third room was filthy. The kitchen stove was sitting on the counter because it didn't fit in the space with live wires. Holes in the walls. People pee in the hallways and corridor walls. Smelled so bad. The ma nager went and changed our reservation to check out 3 days early so they could get the deposit I paid for..adding extra 100 dollars. Got it resolved but the keys were disconnected and we were locked out for 2 days. Office was never open during this time to get new keys. We had to break in. A man overdosed on Fentanyl and died. Cops there all the time. Multiple times a day. Prostitution active. Laundry room was covered in glass. Horrid experience. DO NOT STAY HERE!!

Like much of America lately, homeless vagrants everywhere.
Like much of America lately, homeless vagrants everywhere. Boarded up businesses in downtown. If you visit, go out of town: Boulder, Golden, etc. --- get out of downtown Denver and you'll have a more enjoyable vacation.
EXCEPTIONS (nice places to go):
- Performing Arts Centre (Operahouse)
- Stanley Marketplace (wonderful indoor mall to shop/eat at)
This beautiful historical hotel is located right in the heart of downtown Denver within walking distance of shops on the 16th Street Mall and the Denver Art Museum. There is a wider range of food and beverage outlets. Staff were very friendly and helpful and assisted me with my needs and concerns. I loved exploring the different floors of the hotel, including the historical Dr Sun Yat Sen suite.
It is a modern hotel in te developing hotel precinct for Denver Airport. It was very clean, quiet and comfortable with an excellent breakfast included. It was opposite a restaurant strip, so several good dinner options within a short walk. The staff were helpful and friendly. There was a free shuttlle bus to/from the terminal - it's further than you think.
We were let down with different hotel so it was very last minute. Breakfast looked unappetising so we gave it a miss. It was fine for one night and would stay again for quick overnight. However, big shout out to the shuttle service. Frequent and helpful. Driver told us to use it to get in and out of Denver via the airport. It was a fantastic service.
The room was spacious and clean. Loved the clawfoot tub in the bathroom! Both chairs in the room were comfy, and there was a nice amount of closet space to store my luggage. Location is great, not in the heart of downtown but still very close. Plus the Denver Museum of Art is just around the corner. In summary, I would absolutely stay here again.
We enjoyed staying at the Homewood Suites. The location is great (downtown Denver) and the hotel was exactly what we'd expected. The breakfast was excellent and our room was fine; clean and everything was in good working order. The hotel is not the cheapest in Denver, but all in all we felt that we definitely got decent enough value for money.
Convenient shuttle bus from airport to the hotel. The staff are accommodative and extremely friendly! Thank you for allowing me to ship my luggages prior to my arrival! Loved that the breakfast area was easily accessible to hang out with my friends. I had a very restful and comfortable stay. Thank you so much!
It was a really nice hotel in Capitol Hill that is close to the other art museums in the area! We had a great view of the history colorado museum and the lobby had its own great art pieces to look at! Fire has a great bar, as well and the front desk staff was great!
A standard airport area hotel in an area filled with airport adjacent services. The breakfast included was stand-out and it was modern, clean and comfortable. Not any place I'd want to stay for more than a night but did the trick when we were coming into Denver!
Best hotel location in Downtown Denver if you want to go out and tour around 16th St Mall, very cozy, very quiet even you hang around the lobby, the room is big and the city view is perfect, good parking and the staff are very accomodating and friendly.
Great location, exceptional dinner at the hotel restaurant which had an interesting selection of food and beverages. Nice roof top terrace overlooking downtown Denver. Enjoyed working out at the gym featuring a good number of machines and equipment.
The hotel was clean, very chic, and modern. We stayed in 3 hotels in 3 days in Denver/Golden and this was the nicest! The happy hour was awesome. The location was perfect to jump on the rail or explore downtown! It was an easy walk to Coors Field.
Best value for the money of all the Denver airport hotels. clean, friendly and helpful staff with a free convenient shuttle. and a free breakfast that starts at 4:00 am for travelers with that super early flight!
Beautiful hotel, with a nice bar, great fitness center, and friendly staff. Parking is available all around the hotel, which makes it much easier and cheaper to park than at most other hotels in downtown Denver.
Closeness to downtown restaurants, Colorado Convention Center, and others. They had valet parking. Nice view from the hotel room. I could cancel my reservation until the day before checking in.
The central location in the middle of downtown Denver is definitively ba big value. The Center of Performing Arts, the 16th street mall and the museums are all within walking distance.
Loved the character and charm of the old house. Nice artwork and the hosts/owners are lovely. Breakfast is simple and wholesome. Good location and better option than hotel downtown.
Staffs were trying their best to assist customers. Had a cool grass wall in the room. It's a cheap place to stay considering the location is downtown Denver.
I love the fact there is a balcony with a view of the mountains and downtown Denver. That is the reason I booked this hotel for a second year in a row.
