My stay was regrettably too short; I truly wish I could have extended it. Port Elizabeth is vastly underrated, offering an abundance of activities. I yearned for a longer holiday, ideally spanning five days! The city is breathtaking, with its friendly people, pristine cleanliness, and refreshing ambiance.

The area I stayed at in Summerstrand was very beautiful and quiet. It’s clean and close to the beaches. Overall, I found PE to be relatively laid back. A cosy city for a traveller needing some peace and quiet.

Professional yet warm and friendly hosts that made us feel comfortable. The rooms are spotlessly clean and tastefully furnished and the facilities are exactly what we wanted. Much attention to safety and environmental aspects that provide a sense of security and serenity.
Highly recommended and I will definitely be back. Thank you Tommy and Leonie ❤️

Port Elizabeth is a beautiful coastal city with miles of beaches and is true to its nickname the Friendly City. The older parts in Central have stunning views and buildings but unfortunetaly the local government has allowed it to become neglected, uncared for and in some places dangerous. What a pity, as the old centre with its harbour views and gracious historical buildings should be the gem of the city.
That said, there are still other places worth a visit as property owners in the central area really make an effort to keep their properties well maintained and in the spirit of what it used to be.
There are many restaurants and my favourites are the local ones, each with their own vibe and unique menus. I just love Port Elizabeth.

Gqeberha to give its official name is a fairly relaxed place as largish cities go. It has great beaches though you need to be prepared for windy weather that can reduce the fun of being on a beach.
There is a lot of history, with interesting sites to visit. Also some great food options.
It is not the country’s top tourist hot spot but has plenty of attractions that are in any case better enjoyed without a massive crowd.
Perhaps a bit far from the beach in Humewood (3.3 km), but close to the bus station and the center of Port Elizabeth. Moreover, in a quiet residential area next to historic Fort Frederick overlooking the harbour. Spacious hotel with verandas and common rooms where you can work or relax.
Good facilities such as the hot showers and WiFi. The kitchens are functional. The hotel is well secured. The place is kept clean. Friendly staff.
Rented a whole house with two bedrooms and lounge and kitchen. Shared separate bathroom (not en suite) with a separate extra loo. Very clean and a good area in Port Elizabeth. safe parking on site as well. Definitely a good choice for families with kids as well - there are double bunks off of the lounge area that expands the sleeping options.
The owners welcomed us with a warm chat and a tour of the surroundings.
The hotels theme is great and well kept-looks brand new!
Food wise- we had one of the best breakfasts- all so fresh and great variety.
Complimentary drinks and minibar was included.
Excellent value for money. Wish we could have stayed a bit more.
We needed a room near the hotel and this hotel was nicely located it. The area around it was tidy, but very quiet - weirdly quiet. Could have been the season. Not a lot of restaurant choices within a short walk. Staff were terrific and the room was very nice.
The entire hote staff from security at the gate to management was very friendly. The rooms were kept clean at all times. The entire hotel was clean. Breakfast was exceptional. Thank you for the wonderful welcome.
Amazing garden Oasis in port Elizabeth. It had everything anyone could need. Our host Brian was amazing. Wonderful indian restaurant down the block. Secure parking. We truly enjoyed this place
The honeymoon suite was wildly disappointing. I'm not sure if it's qualified to be called that. If its not a self catering apartment surely breakfast should be included in the package.
The staff are exceptionally friendly, the breakfast is better than most 5 star hotels, and while I was there, they were busy putting in batteries to avoid loadshedding.
Self catering need to have own transport next time, tranquility suitable for nature lovers and would have loved more time in order to use the braai facilities and pool
We have been frequent visitors of this hotel since it's opening in 2012.
