We had a wonderful stay. The house was spacious and the beds were comfortable. The owner was very responsive and we loved the fresh flowers and muffins that were on the table when we arrived. It was also nice to see the donkeys through the kitchen window as I drank my coffee in the morning and again when we went outside to the back of the house. The three bathrooms were also a big plus and the Smart TV in the living room was appreciated by my kids. I would stay here again.

EVERYTHING! Perfect beach cottage with everything you could possibly need. The cottage is right on the ocean and it has a fabulous view. The kitchen is stocked with all kinds of cereal. There is a pod coffee machine. We arrived to a bottle of wine and small fresh cut flowers throughout the cottage. Attention to details!

Cottage was charmingly furnished with period furniture and details but with sympathetic modern amenities. Having breakfast in little outside area. Atmospheric bar outside the main gates. Geraldine, the local house manager, was always at end of phone should there have been any issues- there weren’t. Fort staff also very friendly. Proximity to central Cork-5 min walk down (then up-hill back)
