Karuizawa is an amazing location. Transport to and from the train stations was easy with a taxi, once we had installed the app. We were on business in the area, but we also had the chance to walk a little, great surroundings. All in all, the accommodation is not cheap, but it can host quite a large group, making it worth the price. Host was definitely helpful, no remarks.

The owner couple is really sweet and caring and fetched us from the train station as we were stranded in a mile long taxi queue due to snow and ice disabling the trains and busses no longer running in the late evening. Thank you so much! The breakfast was delicious and a very fair price. The common room were you can hang out and eat had a lit fireplace giving a very warm and cozy atmosphere. It smelled like Christmas morning as a child. We will definitely comeback when we are visiting Karuizawa.
