We had such a great stay here! We were super surprised at how big the room was, especially since we paid so little! The balcony was also a lovely addition. Big big big bonus points for the king size bed - loved it. The staff were extremely kind and they offer a tuk tuk service to bring you to and from Ella city center. Also, right on top of the hotel (literally 2’ uphill walk) is the 3arch bridge - the least famous sibling to the 9 arch one. We were lucky enough to see trains passing there and it was wonderful! We can only recommend! Thanks again.

While about a 25 minute walk (or short tuktuk ride) outside of town the location of the hotel is breathtaking. Sapu and his wife were fantastic hosts and were extremely helpful in every way. If we return to Ella we will almost certainly stay here again.

We unfortunately had to cut our trip short but tea cabins rates 10/10 as far as Sri Lankan hospitality goes. Clean rooms, interesting architecture - if you’re going for a detox from the world this place is perfect. Every amenity you can think of is provided and the breakfast we had was so fresh and delicious

The view the view the view. Omg this cottage is a piece of heaven. The owners are too friendly and cook a really delicious breakfast. Room and bathroom are clean. They provided us with umbrella and tourist guide book which explains all srilanka's sightings ♥️♥️♥️ The cottage is very close to the city center, like 7min walking distance. Highly recommended for anyone love nature and staying in Ella.

I'd like to first of all commend the owner and hostess of the villa. She was always all smiles, helpful and made sure you had an amazing stay with them. They offer free cooking lessons and do laundry services for cheap too! The villa is situated on a hill and would take you a few stairs from the bus stop to get to them; its centrally located as well, very close to all the restaurants, cafes, and convenience stores. Also a walking distance to Ella train station. I had a spacious room where the big and comfy bed was placed next to their big windows facing the greenery and the mountains, it was absolutely nice and cozy! Would highly recommend this place 10/10

The team couldn’t do enough for us, anything we needed was accommodated and the breakfast was amazing! This is not a negative but it’s worth being aware of - to gain this amazing serenity you do have to venture 15 mins by easily arranged tuk tuk. We wouldn’t have wanted to stay in Ella town itself but we still did plenty of the ‘must sees’ thanks to the amazing team.

Beautiful cosy cabin inside the forest, you can find some unbelievable views on the way there. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, room was clean, wifi worked well, there is also net against mosquitos. It's in walking distance to the centre, use the shortcut alongside the railway.
