I loved the affordability and the short walk to the beach. The rooms are cleaned every morning and have AC and a ceiling fan. Hussein the manager was very helpful, with restaurant tips and even negotiating a good price for us to get back to Stone Town. I'll definitely be back.

The owners were always available to give great advice on anything we wanted! The food was very good. The location is also great, the beach is a 2 minute walk away. We really enjoyed our stay here - quiet, cozy and welcoming. The rooms, common area and pool are truly amazing. Max and Elena and the staff were also very friendly and helpful. We already miss the place and are considering going back soon!

The manager Phil is a really nice guy, always helpful with everything, I could say "the guy who solves your problems, while you are on vacation and enjoying the stay. Stuff are good, I would like to say thanks to one barman Juma. The bungalow is very cozy, and breakfast is served on the terrace. The ocean is a five minute walk. The best beach in the area! All the staff is adorable and the service fantastic. Our cottage was big and we loved having breakfast on the porch. The breakfast was very good. The bed was super comfy too. The bar / restaurant has a superb view of the beach and is lovely to admire the sunset. The place is very charming and perfectly located, you can find many restaurants and bars, scuba diving centres on the beach at a short walking distance. Special mention to Dalila who provides brilliant massages.

A good place to relax. Very close to the beach. The day I left, my taxi came at 3pm but it was no problem to stay at Babalao Bungalows till the taxi arrived.
