Located in the heart of Waikiki, 2 minutes' walk to Waikiki Beach, Halepuna Waikiki is a luxury boutique hotel surrounded by shopping and dining. The property was designed by internationally acclaimed interior design firm, Champalimaud and features works of several Hawaiian artists in partnership with The Honolulu Museum of Art public art program.

Excellent hotel in the most fashion area of Honolulu. After a terrible experience in the Hilton Grand Vacations Club Hokulani Waikiki Honolulu (located in the same area) we have experienced a wonderful experience at Halepuna Waikiki by Halekulani based on the customer focus of their staff and the quality/cleanness of the room.

Great value for a reasonable price (compared to surrounding hotels). Perfect location, very clean and comfortable and fun design. Staff super nice. Did not get a chance to try the breakfast restaurant next to reception but seemed well worth it. Would definitely go again!

The room was huge. Loved the wooden floor. Very stylish with eye for detail. And really different to all the rather standard rooms you will find in most places. The view at the park and diamond was stunning. And total privacy. Loved the morning on the balcony with the birds and tranquility. This place is at the end, or the beginning of the beaches, and far away from the chaos further towards Waikiki. It is a good 10 minutes walk to Waikiki and the big hotels. But you can get a bike (5 minutes ride) from the hotel for free!

I booked the wrong date and arrived the day after my reservation start. But they still gave us a room and moved my reservation date without charging me. The service is super nice. And one day we asked is there a place we can heat our food, they get us a microwave in room lol. Also their room are very well designed. The room is beautiful and even the room key is pretty.

Great look and feel of design but appalling service and experience - do not stay here if your under 30 this is a party hotel where they host extreme loud du events without notice on prior to booking and cancel all room service.

The apartment kitchen was very clean, great design, well stocked with every appliance and it made cooking for a family a breeze. The bedroom was roomy and the bed was large and very comfortable. There was also beach chairs, beach umbrella, body boards and mats - excellent thinking by the hosts. The apartment was spacious and comfortable.

Great renovation of an obviously daggy old hotel. Interior designers to be credited. Majority of staff were pleasant. Clean and neat. Check in seemed to be unorganised and don’t expect to get in early! Location is a short stroll from all the fun. Everything is a walk or cheap Uber away.
