Find the boutique hotels that appeal to you the most
Looking for a boutique hotel?
These hotels offer something unique in terms of design and are usually set in a trendy, urban part of town. Blending high standards with a homey vibe, boutique hotels are more intimate than your average hotel.
I have a small dog, & so I stayed in a room designated for pets. It was very clean & comfortable, something not quite achieved in some other "pet rooms" where I've stayed. Hotel staff members, including the cleaning people, were friendly & helpful. This hotel is an excellent value for people who want to tour historic Williamsburg.
Lovely staff, so friendly and welcoming. Make you feel at home every time you return. Good breakfast, great pool that our kids loved. Location really convenient to Williamsburg and Bush Gardens, and several good eats on the doorstep.
my husband prefers a faster response and a good guide on the television. Everything else was lovely. i loved the area and space and the gazebos and the ducks.
DO NOT book this hotel unless desparete or budget is super tight. Where to start? Only good thing I can say is the teenaged boy who finished the room while we'd already given us the key, he tried his best. Go somewhere else, or save the money if you can to buy up a bit. Location was really the good but the management needs to do better.
The continental breakfast was terrible and there were far too many guests shoved in the breakfast area, which is set up galley style, but with probably 75 guests trying to fit in a space designed for fewer than 30 guests. The a/c unit squealed like a dying animal, and the room smelled like sewage. I based my booking off of other online reviews, but the experience was nowhere what I expected for the ratings, and I stay in chain hotels all the time. I won't be choosing Best Western again.
