If you'd like something other than water activities and the beach, you can put on your best hiking shoes and visit Rockaway Big Tree Trailhead, two miles south. It's an ADA accessible boardwalk through a remnant of coastal old-growth cedar wetlands right in town. If you follow the road, it'll lead you to the Big Cedar tree.
