The Oceanfront Inn is located in Shelter Cove, California, right in the middle of the famous Lost Coast. The area is pristine, beautiful, and remote. Each bright room offers a private balcony overlooking the ocean. Amenities in the room include Starlink Wi-Fi, flat screen TV, mini-fridge, microwave, toaster Keurig coffee maker, and a private bathroom stocked with toiletries. Common areas on the property offer a BBQ grill, deck box full of grilling and picnic supplies, gas fireplace on the patio, outdoor games on the south lawn, and ample seating on the oceanside lawn. We have a small gift shop and snacks available in the office, along with maps and brochures of local activities. The staff is super friendly and wishes to help our guests have a wonderful stay. Wildlife abounds in town and in the water, including deer, fox, sea and land birds, seals, sea lions, and river otter. The Oceanfront Inn is 30 miles from the Avenue of the Giants, an amazing 32 mile auto tour viewing California's coastal redwood trees with abundant stops for hiking, picnicking, and stopping in the small towns along the way for shopping and restaurants.

    We loved The Oceanfront Inn! The jacuzzi in the room was a great respite after a long day of driving. The view is spectacular and we slept with the window cracked for real life ocean sounds. Can’t beat that!
