When you leave 101 and drive to Shelter Cove you already could imagine what is coming. Serpentine road going through the mountains and then at some point you can see this amazing hotel standing just on the sea rocks. A coupe of local restaurants, walking distance including a local bar. I would certainly come back one day.

Being able to hear the surf and the seals was nice. I liked that there was a continuous fan available. The place was clean, the atmosphere was incredible, and the view from the balcony is worth every penny. Donna, the innkeeper, was equally amazing. Very welcoming and helpful. We are already trying to figure out how soon we can travel back out here.

The outdoor hot tub was awesome, whether it was foggy or clear, they kept it at 104 to keep you relaxed and piping hot. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. The outdoor grill was a great bonus, so we could cook. And we liked Lauren, who made us feel right at home, and keeps a good eye on the property.SadieYoung couple
