This bed and breakfast is located in a historic hill neighborhood in a Victorian home built in 1855. Downtown Newport and its many shops and restaurants are only a few blocks away. Lisa the Inn keeper couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. The other lady that served us breakfast was lovely too. The location was just the right distance to Thames Street. Parking was great even with a big car. The room and amenities at the Inn had everything you could need. Breakfast was homemade, delicious and different every morning.

The hospitality was second to none - simply excellent. You were made feel at home with the warmth & friendliness. The room was superb 👌 and bed so comfortable. Breakfast was included a nice continental. Jane, who welcomed us, was a sweetheart with a wonderful personality & charm. The other team members were excellent too.

I always wanted to stay here a night and enjoy dining room tasting menu. The staff were all so great, friendly and helpful. Never been during winter season but so calm & private compare to summer time which was nice. Room was so elegant and clean. They have downtime service. We had an aperitif at the bar downstairs then had dinner at dining room. Very interesting & fine wine paring experience. Food was just so “right” and enjoy little chat with our waiter who is very knowledgeable. Over all we had such a wonderful time. Any special occasion to celebrate, this is the place to be.

The breakfast was lovely, and so nice to have it delivered to your room. The location was spot on, right next to everything. The staff was lovely, polite and helpful. The room was extremely clean, well equipped and we could even see the ocean and a stunning sunset from our room.

Situated just 1 block from Washington Square in Newport, Rhode Island city centre, this historic inn is a federal-style building that was once the Newport county jail and police station. Lovely hotel. The building used to be a jailhouse, it was quiet imteresting. Cant beat the location and..brrakfast is so good

Breakfast was very disappointing. For the price that we paid to stay there, I was expecting a nicer breakfast. The pancakes were cold. A continental breakfast at a hotel far exceeded what we received.
