Don't go to this area!
Don't go to this area! It's just too crowded and everything is overpriced! I can't emphasize this enough! EVERYTHING is overpriced and NOT worth going to this area, for anything! I've lived in California all my life, and used to go to this park and this area all the time. But, since the prices have gone sky high, it has become a place that my freinds' and family avoid, at all costs! From the parking traffic and prices to park and the high prices of anything in the stores, it's lost it's appeal! Nobody I know will even think about going into this area, for anything, or any reason! It's a disappointment! Too bad, too! It's not for the middle class or the blue collar working man! It's now only for those that have money to burn! I think Walt Disney himself would be ashamed of the way this has turned out! It should not cost this much to go to the "happiest place on earth"!! Being from the east coast I get down to Disneyworld at least...
Being from the east coast I get down to Disneyworld at least three times a year if not more and enjoy the parks and Downtown Disney. Clearly the California parks are smaller but that's not to say less enjoyable. Downtown Disney California is at best half the size of orlando but smaller makes it more manageable. Restaurant selection was pretty good, did like the open air outdoor bars. Best of all easily accessible going to or from the parks so that you have a seemless experience.
