Feels a bit like the heartbeat of the port side of the city.
Feels a bit like the heartbeat of the port side of the city. It opens on the Mississippi river one one side and the cathedral on the other, while all around are artist selling interesting pieces or making your portrait on the spot. There are musicians too, fortune tellers and tarot people. There was a poem writer too. Just an interesting place.

Jackson Square has some wonderful history to it and a beautiful cathedral you should stop in and see. Also, Cafe Du Monde is right there, BUT...it gets very crowded very quickly. If you are after Begniets and chickory coffee...you can find the very same thing at so many other little cafes all over the French Quarter, I suggest you skip Cafe Du Monde and get a better deal elsewhere.

A guy name Reggie art sells his art pieces right outside like many others, but his prices are great and the quality of his drawings are awesome!

I was very happy with the location of the hotel. It was close to Jackson Square and to many restaurants and bars. I really liked the people in charge of the front desk. They handled most of the needs that I had.
Perfect spot! Quiet location but close to Jackson Square and other popular spots restaurants and museums. Super Clean and staff are above and beyond in their service.
Beautiful hotel. Fabulous location off Bourbon by two blocks. One block to Jackson Square. Lovely rooms. Staff very helpful and kind. Historical building and location. Best accommodations in the French Quarter.
The spot was very convenient to French Quarter and other spots. We had a nice walk to Jackson Square and Cafe Beignet. Staff was helpful. Breakfast at hotel was decent.
Beautiful hotel with excellent service and staff. We loved our balcony street view room with comfortable table and chairs to watch and hear all the activities going on. Easily walkable to Beautiful Jackson Square and the 1st hop on hop off tour bus stop. Delicious coffee and meals were had in the hotel restaurant. We has been on a 17 day trip prior to arriving in NOLA so our stay was brief but we will return. There is so much to see there.
A wonderful suite with two bedrooms and two bathrooms with a kitchen. Felt like an apartment, not a hotel. The decor was very New Orleans with brick walls. The hotel is about a block from Canal Street. Great location for the French Quarter, Superdome, and Jackson Square.
Our stay was great! A beautiful old mansion turned into a hotel with a clean spacious room. We stayed on the top floor and had a great view of the quarter. Really nice courtyard and pool area. Perfect location: you are removed from the partying on Bourbon street but only a 5 minute walk away. So close to all the good restaurants, Jackson Square, area for your tour pick up, etc. When we come back we will definitely book here again!
Great hotel - close to bourbon street but far enough away to be quite at night. Walking distance to Jackson square and river attractions. Adorable hotel - excellent staff service. Everyone was so a accommodating .
