Real toilet paper, not the flimsy cheap stuff. Anytime we go through Klamath Falls, we stay there. It is like being home.

I really appreciated the bright lighting on the exterior. I felt safe checking in and unloading my luggage. There have been some updates (flooring, bedspread, sink, and toilet). Most importantly, the bed was comfortable and the shower was hot with good water pressure. The refrigerator worked well. Even though I didn’t use the microwave, it was nice to have one just in case. Lastly, other than floor, the room was clean.

The motel is tucked slightly away from the highway which helps to keep the traffic noise to a minimal. The owner is a very friendly lady who was fantastic to deal with.

It feels like you’re staying at your aunts place which happens to be a motel. We called to push our arrival time back and the owner was very accommodating. I thought I added my pet on booking.com but didn’t and we just paid in person. These seem like small things but at a less friendly place it could cause issues. The room was preheated when we arrived and the room had a much warmer feel than the photos showed. I’d choose golden west over any other place in the area.IIrisUnited States of America

I love that they had real ceramic mugs and flatware in the motel to reduce waste. She also offered me to let my dog run around off leash in her backyard.
