Alpine Lake Motel is located within 10 minutes’ walk to a number of shops, restaurants and lake activities. The room felt modern and fresh. The kitchenette was suitable for making simple meals and the air conditioning worked well. The decor was simple but fresh and relaxing.

All apartments include a fully equipped kitchen, ceramic hot plate and under floor central heating. Facilities include a thermal-heated swimming pool, poolside bar, shared barbecue facilities and laundry. Very spacious, comfortable, clean, well-equipped room with a great view. Barry was very welcoming and helpful. Ample convenient parking. The shower was powerful with an abundance of hot water. Nice that teabags and milk were provided too.

Able to park right in front of our unit. Great location. Easy self check in. Very clean. Nice and warm. Kitchen is fully equipped with capsule coffee machine, dishwasher, seasonings and supplies. Laundry machine with dryer is a big plus. Bedroom also has nice view and the bed is very comfy. Heaps of storage space. Easy walk to cafes nearby for breakfast. Will definitely come back if there's chance.

The rooms were huge with a small kitchenette, access to laundry in the hotel and the pool / hot tub area was fabulous. Easy access to the lake beside the hotel and a fabulous walk along the lake also.

All guest rooms at the motel feature an outdoor balcony or patio. Some apartments also offer sweeping views of Lake Taupo. At The Village Resort each room has a wardrobe, a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom. The rooms are fabulous and very spacious. It’s more like a home than a hotel. They have everything you need, kitchen. laundry and tea. This is probably the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I highly recommend.
