Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The included breakfast was appreciated, but the dining room was crowded, noisy, and not very comfortable.
Eddie, our airport shuttle driver from the hotel, was incredible! He answered our call for a ride himself, told us exactly when to expect his arrival and then met it, not only helped with our luggage but was concerned for my mobility issues and assisted with my safety entering and exiting his van, and accompanied us inside the hotel to assist with our check-in. The hotel is within walking distance to a train station and an easy connection cruise ships.

Borderline clean, old facilities, in the breakfast area two beds were just stored in the same room in plain site, the cleaners with their trolleys used the same lift as the guests making it really slow to use. Overall not a great experience.
The bed was good and comfortable.

Choice at breakfast. Little choice for a diabetic as everything is heavily sugar based except fruit & yoghat. The addition of some cold meats or cheese with a crispbread alternative or a low sugar musili would adequately solve this.
In a convenient position for the airport [free shuttle bus] & within a 5 min walk of the Skytrain for easy access to downtown Vancouver. Good sized room with all the usual amenities plus a fridge & microwave.

There really isn't anything I disliked.
Great location, minutes from the airport which is why we like staying there. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast included, while not huge, is enough to get your going. There is also an airport shuttle which is handy

A little tricky driving in and out of the immediate intersection. There isn't very much in the way of shopping or restaurants within walking distance.
The room was very clean, the large bed was comfortable. Nice bathroom and the fridge, microwave and TV all in good working order. It was nice to start our trip the next morning with a decent breakfast. Very convenient to get to the airport.

The staff generally are helpful. But when we are checking out, 1 of their house-keeping staff, knocked at our door, asked us to be out, or we have to pay 1 hour extra. We wonder if we will staying there again when visiting Vancouver next few month???

The hotel phone was not working so I could not get in contact to organise the airport transfer on my arrival.
Only spent a few hours in the hotel. It's close to the airport and clean.

BREAKFAST BUFFET IS BELOW THAN EXPECTED. All sugary and sweet. No meat or even EGG!!! We also stayed in Days Inn in downtown vancouver and it’s better there overall. Though the Downtown could be built or renovated more recent than here. No toiletries by default. You need to call the receptionist to request and you will be asked to come down, For 200$++ per night; it is WAY BELOW EXPECTATIONS,
Location is near the Skytrain station. Staff on duty during check in and checkout were good! Very accommodating! Facilities are old but it gets the job done. View from our room is okay. Air-conditioning is very satisfying for someone like me that likes cold places.

The overall feel of the hotel was a bit dated.
Easy to get to from the airport. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was clean with plenty of towels. Aircon was great, easy to use and cooled the room down quickly

As stated above, more info about the vicinity of the hotel.
The one thing that really needs to be added - - Menus. We had no way of knowing where we could eat or have food delivered to us. Most hotels I have stayed at in the past have several menu's in the lobby for customers to browse. For a stranger in town, I think that is an essential part of info available to anyone staying there.
