Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaThe room cleaner tried times to enter in my room (she woke me up) even if I was putting the “busy” sign. When I tried to talk to her about it, she was really rude, walked away from me and never had eye contact. It is as my only bad experience about the hotel
There is a bar and a a restaurant on the main floor, the girl at the reception is pretty cute, a nice kitchen in the commune area to cook food, and It is really close either from the downtown or ste foy..

CanadaI was asked to leave tips for check-in, which was the first time I experienced that, so I left 15% tips for nothing as we couldn't reach out to the stuff in the morning.
The room was clean, AC worked well and the kitchen was clean, neat and organized. There was enough bathrooms for everyone. The location was very convenient too as we could easily travel on one bus to get to the old Quebec.

CanadaToo little cooking instruments.
Well located near a frequent city bus stop, the place is comfortable with a nice large kitchen. There is a nice common living room. There is a restaurant on the ground floor and a small supermarket nearby. Staff is very nice!

CanadaLow light in the room, few light bulbs were missing. Because of this - the room is pretty nice during the day but looks grotty in the evening. More bright light is needed. Very bad ventilation in showers. No windows are available there as well.

CanadaI liked that even though it was listed as having a shared bathroom, I still had my own WC; just the shower was shared. Everything in the common area was tidy and there was a chill bar downstairs, it was perfect. The staff didn't speak much English, but were accommodating of my limited French; the stay felt very cozy and homey.

CanadaFeels like the private room of a hostel (a nice room), rather than a room like the ones offered by chained-brand hotels. And one key (solid metal key, not an access card) works for all the doors in the building, so doesn't give you the best feeling of security.
The location is good. The room is clean. The staff is friendly. Giving you all you need at a very decent price.

United KingdomI knew it was not in the Old Town. For most Quebec attractions you will need the bus, which comes regularly: exact fare only is needed in dollar coins, not notes or plastic, or buy a day ticket at the petrol filling station. I tried going west to see Quebec bridge, and that really needed other connecting buses.
Immediate neighbourhood is nice: boulangerie, book shop that serves coffee, gourmet restaurant (BYOB) and the restaurant dowstairs (through which you check in and out) does more than pizza. Try the poutine. Well-equipped kitchen for self caterers, with lockable cupboards and a reading area with good daylight.

SpainThe location is not bad, but it's also not centric. You are 20 minutes away by bus from any place in Old Quebec. But if you do not mind a bus trip or if you have a car with you, then I'd totally recommend it!
The rooms are big and comfortable, with everything that you might need! The common areas are also very spaceous and really clean. The whole place is quiet and the staff is really welcoming. The restaurant underneath the rooms is a great place to have a simple meal and a drink.
