A bit crammed for 3 people but good for 2.

Very peaceful and tranquil surroundings. Bonus was seeing deer just outside our cabin one morning. Lovely terrace with seating to drink in the beauty of nature.

Side way space only beside bed. Toilet too cramped. No overhead main room light, only side of room lighting. Steps down to accomadation unsteady and unsafe. Safer to walk along side on soil. Needs railing along side.

It took us a while to find arriving late on the dark. A sign showing where the path went from the car park to the cabins would have helped.

There were lots of mosquitoes so remember to shut the door to the cabin.

Great spot to stay if you’re looking for a secluded getaway in Golden! The location and view actually exceeded my expectations. We saw lots of deer and wildlife too. Briefly chatted to the host who was very welcoming!

What an amazing little getaway! We loved feeling like we were alone in the mountains at this cabin. The views were just stunning, and the cabin extremely comfortable and cozy. The hosts were quick to respond to anything we needed, and fixed a small issue we had immediately. We will be recommending this sweet stay to friends and family, and hopefully be back again soon!

The cleanliness was not as I expected. There were some dead insects/ ants on the bed and sofa and sheets that I'd expected to be cleaned before new guests coming.

The staff were very friendly and willing to help us. The nature around and view was amazing. Overally, it was relaxing with spectacular views and I'd go there again.

We didn't like having to leave after our two night reservation ended.

We absolutely loved the spectacular view from cabin of the majestic mountains. It was peaceful, quiet, and the only sounds we heard were the various birds. The cabin was set up very well and had everything we needed for our stay. .

Very cute and cozy cabin facing away from the main lodge and being somewhat secluded except the 2nd cabin right beside it. Fantastic panorama of mountains, meadows, creeks and woods with all the wild life you can possibly expect dropping by on occasion. Wood fired sauna is similarly semi-private and works amazing. Just a fantastic retreat to get away from things.

The bathroom was small, had to use the toilet sitting sideways

Very cute rustic cabin that has everything you need for your stay. Charming location with deer passing by the cabins several times a day and beautiful mountain views. Kitchenette had a microwave, toaster, stovetop burner, and basic cooking utensils (cutlery, pots/pans, kettle, etc). Bathroom had towels, soap, shampoo and hair dryer. The bed was super soft. We loved the log style with high beams. Bonus points for the hosts to allow us to bring along our golden retriever.

I can't think of a single negative thing to say. It was wonderful all around!

Simply amazing. In the midst of nature. We saw deer, a beaver, eagle, a woodpecker, salmon, and bear paw prints. At night there are thousands of stars to see, even the milky way. The hut has every comfort you need, a full bathroom, microwave, toaster, fridge, comfortable bed and sofa... The owners were very friendly as well and gave us wood to make a fire outside. All in all, perfect place to get away from civilization and enjoy peace and quiet in nature.

Was originally boked in cabin 1, but last minute before arrival changed to cabin 2. Host said the people before us went in to the wrong cabin, we think they did so because the view from 1 is better. Wished the host had moved them before we arrived. Directions were a bit confusing.

the bathroom would be tricky if you have mobility issues

this is an amazing cabin both cosy and relaxing. the wildlife came right up to the door. there was a bbq by the stream for some outdoor cooking. coffee and a French press in the cabin for lovely slow mornings.

Loved the remoteness of the Cabin. We stayed in Cabin 2 which overlooks a small river and an open field with mountains to the distance. The Cabin is cozy in size but works considering there were 3 of us and 1x dog.
