No dislikes really. We found the pool a bit too warm. It felt like swimming in a warm bathtub which wasn't very refreshing but we also mostly swim in the ocean and lakes so that could be why. Definitely not a complaint, just a preference for us. I'm sure lots of people like that aspect

The location right in Cavendish is fantastic, close to everything. We stayed in the motel part last year and liked it so wanted to stay again but wanted somewhere we could cook our own meals. It was just a little kitchenette with no oven but it was perfect for us. Between the burners and the barbecue, it's all we needed. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I had to keep needing sugar for my coffees and they would give me lots, it was much appreciated. Doris was very nice and even remembered me from the previous year. The price is good as well, especially for being right in the middle of Cavendish. Very clean as too.

While two of the rooms had comfortable beds, the double bed in one of the rooms was incredibly uncomfortable. My partner and I seem to have just gotten unlucky and everyone else in our group had no complaints about their beds, so maybe this one just needs an update. We had issues connecting to the wifi on the first day, and none of us managed to connect, which was inconvenient. By the time we woke up the second day it seemed to have connected on its own, but we struggled with it on the first day. Lastly, the hot water was inconsistent in our cottage - we think we figured out a switch that had to be turned on before using the hot water, but it would have been helpful to know this beforehand. These were all relatively minor things, but it would have been helpful to be aware of any tricks to get the wifi / hot water working.

Overall we had a really nice stay. It was pretty well organised, and clean. The cottages have everything you need for your stay. The cottage was a good size for our group of 5, and it was handy to have a kitchen, three bedrooms and a living room and tv to hang out in the evenings. The location is great, very close to beaches and activities in Cavendish. The staff were friendly and helpful, including when we had to cancel one night of our stay and ended up under the minimum 3 night requirement - everyone was accommodating and very helpful!

Fire alarm was out of battery and made noise in the night many times. But the staff fixed it right away I told the situation, which was very nice.

There were different floor levels and we weren’t warned my husband tripped going into washroom we did later notice a sign but feel we should have been told at check in

The cabin was not a stand alone. It was very old and needed to be painted and repaired. Bed was not comfortable! The BBQ was dirty and falling apart. The lighter did not work!

The motel walls are THIN. We could hear every step, every word, and the honest to goodness drum circle in the next room until late. Also not a fan of the ashtrays right outside the rooms - encourages people to smoke near all the doors. It exactly a smoke free property.

We loved the location - so close to the coast and dune trails, but far enough from the touristic part of Cavendish. Our room was simple but comfortable and functional. No complaints :)

The interior door hinges need a little WD 40 to stop the squeeks. The Fridge needs a second bar on the door and it seems to be over cooling. The upstairs bathroom could accomodate a vanity, we moved a night table from the Master bedroom for the time we were there.

Our Ingleside cottage was delightful, bright ,airy and plenty of space for the four of us. Staff were very pleasant and accommodating and the location was perfect.
