Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaThe unit had a kitchenette with nothing supplied, you had to purchase a package. The only thing supplied was basic toiletries. The write up indicated more amenities.
A convenient value priced accommodation that met our needs for our two night stay.

CanadaBesides making the bed, my unit was not cleaned up at all. The cleaning stuff totally forgot vacuuming the floor, chairs and cleaning the tables. I told the front desk, he came upstairs and sweep the floor.
Friendly front desk stuff, big and nice two bedrooms unit.

NetherlandsThe kitchen has 2 massive fridge / freezers, but apart from a microwave there was absolutely nothing (as mentioned in the description, but just to remind as you cannot even make a cup of coffee).
We stayed in this student dorm with our family of 5 - the kids loved having their own bedroom! This was just a stop between Jasper / Vancouver, but we loved the view on the City. We really enjoyed living on a university campus for a night!

CanadaToilet work properly. Had to work at getting it to flush, but a first world problem, for sure. There was a scheduled power outage that took out the elevators. We were on the 11th floor. Got my steps in that day! Staff said it is a monitored system, frustrating but they couldn't do anything about it. It is a dorm, after all. So it was still a great deal!

CanadaWe wanted to use the bbq but both grills were really really dirty.
We went to test out the dorm for our daughter who moves there next month. It feels safe, comfy and central. Loved the abundance of deer.

CanadaOur keys kept getting deactivated a few times a day. Some of the staff definitely need more training at the front desk.
Location was amazing. Lots of stores and restaurants within walking distance. The grounds were beautiful, great to walk around.

United KingdomWe had to ask for a kettle and toaster. We had assumed these things might be in as we were not regular students. Also no cups or cutlery. Thankfully we had some bamboo cutlery with us and we went out to buy paper cups. The beds were incredibly hard as concrete and so very uncomfortable.
It was roomy and bright and very clean.

CanadaBeds were very hard, I can't imagine anyone sleeping on those mattresses. Unfortunately we could hear all of the racing vehicles going by and the people talking very loudly in the hallways and outside in the middle of the night. The fitness room was a joke with all of the equipment broken, no weights available, and nothing to use to wipe down machines.
Great amount of space for my family of 6 people.

CanadaThe air conditioning was not cooling the room effectively. The staff brought a portable fan instead.
Room was spacious, clean, typical college dorm fixtures. Vaulted ceilings on the top floor rooms. Had a great view of the valley. Really friendly front desk staff.

CanadaThe beds were rock hard. I have slept on softer ground. There was zero room cleaning before or during. There was only one set of towels for a family of 4. We had to ask for more. The place was well located and two rooms was ideal. Just could have been better if it was clean.
Didn’t have the breakfast… didn’t know where it was. Didn’t realize it was offered. Staff was nice. The location and two rooms was the best part.

CanadaI didn’t look closely enough at the listing I guess. My fault. I thought there were some kitchen facilities other than a sink and fridge. No supplies or cooking facilities. We kept our windows open but we were over a patio where some folks were enjoying themselves..a bit noisy for us.
Easy to find and free parking. Close to amenities. Nice view of the river valley. Unit was clean. Beds were fine but small doubles.
