Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SpainThe breakfast offered seemed expensive €21. The neighborhood can be tricky if you are a solo traveler.
Walking distance to Hauptbanhof. Frankfurt's main train station. Many restaurants and shopping nearby. Not far from the river. Walking distance to many tourist attractions.

GermanyNice hotel but.....The elevator is a joke. I've never been in an elevator that small. The next paragraph the hotel has no control over: The location would have been nice except for all the drug dealers, junkies, and trash on the streets right around the corner. I lost count of how many times I was solicited for drugs. Maybe because we were black American. I saw no one else being solicited so blatantly. Otherwise none one else really bothered us but it is not a place to stay for people with kids.
The breakfast was good with a lot of variety. The room was nice for the price I paid, but a little small. Most importantly it was clean and modern. No iron in the rooms but the front desk has one, and the staff were super friendly!

United KingdomThe carpet needed washing and the lift was quite small.
Hotel location was great and about 20 minutes walking distance from the city centre. Tram was opposite the hotel. Hotel was very close to the main train station. There were plenty shops and restaurants nearby. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. They looked after our luggages after we checked out, as our fight was late afternoon. Rooms were cleaned and beddings were changed on a daily basis and they had coffee maker.

AustraliaThe surrounding of the hotel is not safe, a lot of the unwanted characters on the street around that area. We don't feel safe walking out of the hotel after dark, not even safe walking in a group. Best to stay in after dark. Once we are in the hotel, it's safe.
The location of the hotel is great, very near to the main train station. If you are expecting to travel around a lot on rail, this location is good. A tram stop right in front as well. We reached early and managed to get early check in which is much appreciated after a very long flight.

Russia• Location near the Hauptbahnhof is not the best one as you can find questionable people nearby the hotel location • Parking is impossible to find from the first trial and it is very-very narrow and small - keep this in mind
• Sound isolation is perfect - you hear nothing from the outside • Breakfast is compact, but still very good and tasty. We had to leave early (6:00) the last day and we were given a special take away edition breakfast - you better inform that you need one 24 hours before that moment
