The rooms are small as said by many of the other guests. However not at problem as the storage facilities in the room were adequate. There was a refurbishment of the Carmen Square outside going on which led to sone noice in the morning. Staff was extremely kind and helpfull during our entire stay. Location a dream

Too pricy for its, small, rooms. There is a very annoying green light on the room ceiling, so if you like total darkness in your sleep it will be an issue.

Location is great, just 2 min. walk from the center of the Gran Vía, great foe shopping. Major metro stations within 4~5 min. walk. Breakfast is good. Staff, especially the night shift was very helpful. Coming by taxi/Ubar can be little trick as there are constriction in front of the hotel and the car cannot reach it. In the way back to the airport we asked the hotel to reserve a taxi and driver came to the lobby. Much better option from order by yourself, and in any case, there is fix price of 33 euro.

The construction in the neighbourhood was noisy, despite to the fact that the isolation of the building is excellent.

The staff was very nice. They were keen to inform us about things to do, place to go or solve our problems. The breakfast was very good, natural and with lots of options.

- It was not possible to turn on A/C, the room was very hot - Breakfast had limited options for hot dishes, there were no fried eggs, pan cake etc. Boiled eggs were hard and cold.

Really disappointed l wasn’t aware of the major renovations happening right out front of property. It made it difficult to locate and enter.

The renovations around the hotel was a bit annoying but it eventually didn’t bother me at all! Spain starts everything late so the working started when we already left the hotel 😄

On the Gran Via within a walking distance from just about everywhere . Monica and Silvia were exceptionally nice! Our room was on the 2nd floor and had a small porch which was nice, room had space and large bathroom and was clean.

Sandra, the receptionist is so lovely and helpful. She always smiles and happy at work, whatever time of the day. The breakfast is excellent, fresh fruits and juices. They have accommodated me for an early breakfast for an outing one morning. The location is excellent, convenient for sight seeing, meals and tours. An excellent vegetarian restaurant, Artemis, just round the corner.

Only quibble was a little lack of privacy in the bathrooms of rooms. A clear gap between door and doorframe of bathroom meant that you were easily visible when using the toilet.

Location is simply brilliant, just a short walk away from popular locations such as Sol and Gran Via. A kilometer away from El Retiro. Room was very comfortable and modern, as were communal spaces.

No te or coffee was provided in the room but, you could have a water boiler without extra charge. There was no hanger for the jackets or bags even if the room was super spacious.

We asked for a full bed for a couple but were given to twins together which made snuggling difficult on a very cold nigth in Madrid.

The staff was wonderful and the location l was perfect. Sandra was really welcoming and supportive.
