Superb location - charming older style apartment - the host was very receptive and helpful.

The bed sheets were old and I would recommend the host replace with new ones, they were scratchy and pilled. The towels can also be replaced as they are getting old and not soft anymore. Water pressure was low and the shower over the bath not the easiest to get in and out of. Toilet was very dark with one small light and very dark walls. Kitchen could also do with better lighting. Missing in the kitchen was a potato peeler, we had to go and buy one. There were only two full sized mugs available, I'd suggest providing two more. The 'antique' wardrobe in the bedroom was falling apart - we reported this to the owner. We ended up using the drawers in the cabinet in the lounge to put our clothes. There should also be a supply of decent hangers for clothes. There were some but just odds and sorts, and we expected better. We could not get used to the pillows and didn't find them comfortable - perhaps it is because we are not used to the European style large square pillows. You had to be VERY careful when exiting the lift as it opened straight on to the stairs going down and not much room; we were okay but those not so sure on their feet I would not recommend. We thought the apartment was very expensive compared to other accommodation we stayed at but maybe this is to do with the location.

Location was fantastic. Appreciate that there was a lift, very small and clunky as it was, as we were on the third floor and had heavy suitcases. The apartment was spacious and well equipped. We particularly appreciated the fully equipped kitchen which even had a full size oven and a dishwasher. Also. a vacuum cleaner was provided and washing machine with loads of capsules so that we could do many washes during our two week stay. We found the apartment very comfortable. Fly screens in the bedroom and the one window in the lounge were a thoughtful touch and was well appreciated. Loved the lighting in the lounge that was all controlled remotely, excellently done. Nice big flat screen TV. The owner was very helpful whenever we had a problem with the apartment.
