The location of this property was excellent. It was tucked into a side street, very local, but quite close to a square and shops. Because it was down a side street, it was quiet. There was a persistent, slightly unpleasant odor in the bathroom, perhaps due to the age of the building or proximity to the river. I appreciated the little washing machine in the bathroom. Along with its convenience, the apartment was easy getting into and just one flight up a sturdy spiral staircase. I also appreciated the well-stocked kitchen which came in handy after a long day; coffee and tea were provided.

It happened to be cold and windy when I first got there so I looked forward to a cozy apartment. The heat was serviceable but being able to adjust it would've helped. The floor (cement) was extremely cold - a rug would help in cooler weather. My first morning there, when it was cold, I looked forward to jumping into a warm shower. That was not to be, there was no warm water. By the evening it had come back but was not always consistent. What I really didn't care for was the 10 AM check out the messages about inventory, garbage, sheets, etc! I don't mind doing some of those things, I'm a neat tenant, but being welcoming in a message and then threatening with charges, more than once, didn't sit well. While it's true that for an extra cost 13 Euro, I could've stayed until 11, the more common check out time, the extra cost rankled because of the other issues. The bed was comfortable enough but in an odd position; you get in and out from the foot of the bed.

Beautiful location with free adjacent parking. Lake view from our room and restaurant table. Quiet and picturesque. Warm and inviting couple who own and operate the property actively interested in making our stay all that they could. Evening meal was exceptional using only local ingredients. Spacious room with comfortable bed and roomy bathroom. Step out balcony with lake view.

The facilities are new and big and I don't see many tenants. It is a bit off the city center, which is about 15-20 minutes away by foot. The lady at Accueil is friendly and willing to help. There are washer and dryer in the building.

Welcoming host. Nice room with plenty of light overlooking the garden. Modern property, nicely decorated. Property was a 5 minute walk to the metro, which was then 5-10 minutes to the city centre.

The average hotel / hostel. A nice compromise for 1-2 nights staying with the low price. The staff were really good and friendly. Comfortable location, not far from the center and Notre Dame.
