Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThere was a lot of works ongoing ( it was winter) - would have been good to be advised in advance. Day time staff not overly helpful. The shop and cafe closed quite early and nowhere else close by for food after a long day in the city
Close to the city centre with buses close by. Lovely wooden cabin on the river. Cabin was small but functional. Lovely patio to sit on in the summer. Fridge and cooker and equipment. Lovely shower

DenmarkNo oven. It's a little noisy as it's close to a motorway but to be expected. We were there off-season, so lots of work was being done around the site. The bush in front of the stairs could have been cut back for easier access.
Stayed here for 2 nights. We are a family of four - 2 adults, 8 year old child, and a Jack russel Terrier. Location was great. Easy to travel by bus and metro directly into center of Paris. Friendly staff. Parking right beside our wooden caravan. Beds were comfortable. Little kitchen has most things we needed. Little shop on site was very handy and reasonably priced.

CanadaThe ad on booking.com stated that there was a shuttle, which is why we chose this location. It doesn't have a shuttle right now, and getting to the bus/train is not simple.

Location, amenities, comfortable, clean. Totally recommend, better than a hotel with similar or double the price, plus the free parking which is quite hard to get in the centre of Paris.

Poland-no air-conditioning, an electic fan cooled the hot air on the chalet - some noise coming from a busy road by the campsite. - playground currently unavailable (and one toilet block for rent/campervan users).
We stayed in a chalet for a week. The level of cleanliness was good, mattresses very comfy, kitchen well equipped, bathroom with a shower clean and with hot water' available all the time. Towels and bedding were provided. No oven, but a microwave could be used. There was enough space for 4-5 people. Lovely outdoor space on the terrace. Campsite clean, well maintained, shop and restaurant modern (closed between 11:00 and 17:00). We could rent table tennis rackets and ball and play, which was a bonus. Reception staff helpful, thank you 👍🏻

IrelandThe restaurant, bar and shared lounge areas were all closed for renovations. We felt this should have been mentioned on the site or relayed to us pre-arrival. They did have a pizza truck to compensate and there is a nearby town across the river with restaurants, a market etc. though so we did have more than enough alternative options. The wooden caravans have no air conditioning which could become slightly uncomfortable in the warmer evenings.
A perfect base for exploring Paris. The wooden caravan was exceptionally clean, practical and spacious for a family of four. The shuttle bus is also great which takes you directly to Porte Maillot. From there, it's possible to get a metro to most of the key sites in Paris. Overall, highly recommended for a family if you want the camping feel whilst still being close to central Paris.

New ZealandI would have liked better communication in the website about how to travel to town so we could plan better before we got there (and to buy the right travel passes). There is a shuttle bus to Porte Maillot which runs about every 30 mins there and back. The tickets cost 2 euro each way. You need to buy supplies before arriving as there are no shops close by. They are renovating at the moment. The shop had a few supplies and nothing cold. The renovations look amazing (once they are finished)
Beautiful peaceful location among the trees. We had a toilet and shower in our tent. The shower was very good and the hot water very hot and fast. It was easy to get to central Paris using a zone 3 travel pass. A short walk to the bus stop then bus 244 to Porte Maillot - M1 from there.
