Old property, full of charm and character… Lovely rooms, all different, all very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Delicious breakfast. Lovely staff - we had a very warm welcome and happy stay.

The stairs. We cannot get our suitcases up - it was too steep. But it is part of the property’s entourage so we took only what we needed from the car.

The feeling of a real small castle and history overall. Small but nice breakfast. Car parking. They have small charging station for vehicles (2 connection points) - we didn’t check the price but in case you didn’t make it to the nearest charging station - it could save you.

The Troglodyte room we chose probably wasn't the best choice.

We were worried at first when we learned that there was no air conditioning ( there was a heat wave when we visited) but it ended up not really bothering us; the owner let us use a fan in the room and it kept us comfortable at night.

The property was nestled in a beautiful area and was perfect for our plans to visit chateaux and relax. We loved taking a bottle of wine with a baguette and cheese into one of the lovely gardens, sometimes by ourselves and other times joined by others who were staying there. The whole stay was wonderful!

Didn’t realise it was so far from restaurants for dinner - we also were not informed that we could have ordered tapas for dinner which would have been lovely to have in the garden.

Nothing. The stairs to my room were easily overcome when they quickly helped with my bags. if something is not perfect, they will make it so. Amazing.

Everything is perfect! The pool is magical, the forest behind the chateau is gorgeous and the views looking out toward the valley are amazing. The gardens are so relaxing in the evenings. The laundry was so welcomed! The owner Veronique was so gracious and even picked me up at the train station. The location is so close to Amboise yet you are in the country! The staff is amazing and did everything to make my stay incredible especially Christobel! She arranged all of my rides into town and did everything with a smile. The room in the main house with the old bathtub and shower had an amazing view. I hated to leave! I will always stay here when I am lucky enough to return.

There were some bugs, especially after leaving the screenless windows open at night, but the cool, fresh air was wonderful so worth it. The parking is tricky in the walled garden so a smaller vehicle would work better.

Victoria and staff are fantastic and went well out of their way to ensure we had a great time. We rented the annex which was much more than needed for 2 adults, but we enjoyed the kitchen to be able to prepare a few meals at home. The swimming pool felt wonderfully refreshing after a long day in the sun and 80 degree temperatures. The breakfast room was beautiful and so delicious; best croissants from our whole trip! Gorgeous view across the valley, especially sunrise with multiple hot air balloons dotting the horizon.
