Pool was lovely but a bit small My room exceeded all my expectations. Just one tiny little quibble Everything was excellent but there was no bedside table I had a huge balcony overlooking the river valley. Who could ask for anything more? The staff were all very helpful and friendly

The outside appearance was quite severe looking, looked more like a youth hostel, but once inside was very modern, cleanand enjoyable stay. Realised the front was modernised!

The restaurant meal in evening was fantastic, we opted for the 25 euro rather than 17, was lovely

It's perhaps not the prettiest of hotels but that was the only downside

The hotel was extremely good value for money. It was clean and our room was large and modern. The food was pleasant and again good value. The staff particularly the owner (?) were helpful and efficient. There is an impressive range of pool and sauna facilities which we didn't in fact use. It is very quiet being at the end of a road but there was no problem finding it. For the price it could hardly be bettered and we are likely to go back

Perhaps not the end of the world but definitely the end of the road, which turns into a path into the forest, perfect for a stroll. The hotel is comfortable, with its own indoor swimming pool and a terrace outside for a quiet evening drink under the stars. The buffet breakfast (€8 per person) is well worth having, with a good selection of items.

The building is functional. The rooms are perfect. I was with 2 small dogs and we had a very large room. The shower was excellent! I had dinner there are different kind of 3 menu’s and the quality was very good. I also were able to put something in the fridge. C’etait pas un problème, je vous remercie beaucoup. Room size on the small side. The marketing pix are not really what you get. or certainly not what we got. Fortunately neither of us is a plus size....just as well.

Great location - name says it all - down a narrow road, until you truly get to the end of the track. So no traffic noise.....Great breakfast. Owner makes his own croissants and pain au choc. Very tasty. Bed comfortable. Plenty of hot water. Good mirror in the room. Despite room size ( see below|), we had a good night and would return here.

It’s quite basic accommodation but clean and very cheap, good for one night! Very quiet and good to stretch the legs, walk down the path to the river bank, its beautiful there! Fantastic food in the restaurant!

Location was good, room quiet as requested, staff pleasant & attentive. Restaurant was inexpensive & good quality, breakfast was plentiful & plenty of choices. Pet friendly a big bonus.

We knew we were in France, but in the add there was no mention that no one spoke English at the hotel, hard to order a meal when you dont know what it is. Ordered a soup starter, didn't know it would be cold with abit of cheese and ham chucked in it, easy option for main was the steak which was nice. The room was red hot, no aircon.Neither was there a fan, no curtains on the windows no iron, no tea or coffee making facilities , not even a jug of water. Location was only good thing, I would not advise unless you speak french , 3 weeks earlier we stayed at a chateau in De jon ,beautiful building in a beautiful place, food was excellent staff were lovely and it was cheaper
