Pool needs renovation as well as chairs and umbrellas surrounding it.

Gréât location for thé Via Rhona. Quiet. Gréât spacious rooms. Excellent restaurant with menu of the day choices in the evening.

The breakfast seemed a little disorganised -- let's say 'laissez faire', which was fine, really.

The pool, grounds, location, scenery, horses, restaurant, characterful church with two tone bells, room service -- just a great place

Nothing at all. Just a couple of suggestions - a kettle etc in the room would be good and a full length mirror so I can gauge the amount of weight I gained from eating in the restaurant!

Beautiful location..stunning. Room was huge and the bathroom was superb. Fantastic rain shower and even the shampoo and wash were lovely. The whole environment is delightful-lovely grounds, indoor pool, bar and typically French tree covered outside area. The staff were so helpful and friendly despite my terrible French. They even changed my room so my dog could have access to the garden directly rather than having a balcony. Finally the restaurant. Oh my…fantastic. This place is in the middle of nowhere and it was jam packed full on a Thursday night. Not just with tourists, many locals. The food and service was just spot on. Well done!

No shade on room or hotel terrace. Room terrace was very dirty needing a jet wash to remove years of dirt. Dinner service was slow probably due to understaffing.

It was so good that we decided to stay another night. The staff are attentive and caring. The facilities first class. There is a feeling that the hotel is a popular destination locally with families choosing it for celebratory occasions. The food is excellent much of it fresh and sourced locally. If we are travelling in this region in the future we shall certainly return

Diner was a little bit rushed. Breakfast was ok, but not exceptional.

The bed was quite soft and the room didn't have air conditioning. Could be stuffy if the evenings are hot. If you like a cup of tea then bring a travel kettle as no Tea/coffee/kettle supplied.

Friendly staff, large room with an excellent balcony. Saw the house manager checking the room after it had been made over in the morning - very good. The restaurant was excellent - Staff/Food/price. It was full each lunch and dinner so a statement of quality. Breakfast standard but nice - quality/price unbeatable! Some nice walks in the area. Very calm area not a place for party animals but perfect for a weekend getaway.

Better staffing levels and some training in customer care.

This hotel seemed a little disorganised. There was one very helpful, but without authority to effect anything, staff member. She appeared to have no backup at all. So when there was no hot water at 7am she couldn’t explain other than be patient it will arrive eventually. The room was huge (family room) but totally devoid of any character or warmth. But it was functional and very clean. The restaurant was good and very popular with locals so do book in advance. However when we were presented with the bill next morning we had been overcharged by €100 for the meal for 2. The onus was very much on us to prove we hadn’t had that huge amount of food as we felt we were not believed and we only succeeded in our case as fortuitously the helpful waiter who had served us passed reception at that moment and equally mystified he vouched for the truth of what we were saying. It was very uncomfortable and there was no hint of an apology. I would never stay at this hotel again.

when we stayed it was very hot and we could not get enough cool air into the room. there was a fridge in the room so that was a help with drinks.

Great food. They also had an English menu. If you want to try Frogs legs this is the place!

The pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable. The mattress was thin and, therefore the bed was rather hard

The room was not very clean especially the walls. The bed was not comfortable (we had a room for 4).

Staff very nice. Breakfast basic but nice. Calm and nice view.
