We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomWe initially got sent to the wrong room and a couple were already in there, somewhat embarrassing! 😕The receptionist said it was a fault in the system as the room was showing unoccupied. Also it looked as though someone in the room we ended up with previously had tried to punch through the bathroom door as there was a big dent!!
Hotel was good value for money, room was comfortable (a bit warm but there was a window), shower was hot. Staff were pleasant and there was parking. It was no frills but fine for one night.

SpainThe bathroom is very similar to the one on the plane. When you sit on the toilet, your knees touch the door. They don't put bedding on the bed upstairs, and the same thing happened to me in another ibis budget, it seems they're too lazy to do it. There is just one plug in the entire room.
It is a good price if you are going to use it only for sleeping. The people at the reception are very friendly. Good cleaning.

GermanyCheckin was horrible. Receptionist cannot speak english at all. It took him 30 mins to verify if we paid for accomodation or not. Bathroom was not so clean and spacious. Breakfast was not good. No plates or croisonts ...very basic bread and coffee.
Rooms are just okay for one night stay. Free Parking is available onsite.

FranceThe place is affordable but the showers were very uncomfortable (not enough space). Breakfast was good even though there was a lot of problems with the coffee machine. I stayed a whole weekend here so I had time to experience the full service. The staff was very nice. Over all a nice affordable hotel for short stays.

BrazilI went expecting an average Ibis experience. It was not what we got. The price was similar to other places I stayed on my trip, but the quality of the spaces were well bellow the average, small and badly lit room and bathroom, delapidated fittings, no ventilation (no air conditionig nor fan). Luckly, there was a fire alert on the day I was there and the building was evacuated, so they transfered us to another (better) ibis closer to the city centre.
Friendly staff. Despite a problem with my keycard on the room (the key reader was broken - hanging from the door), they (reluctantly) provided me with a regular mater key (the alternative was to ask for a employee to open the door for me every time I came in and leave the door unlocked thruout).
