Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyThe rooms were lovely - fairly simple but provided everything a guest requires in a modern world. The restaurant serves one menu (3 courses) a day. There is no choice but the food was wonderful. The personnel in the hotel were always very helpful and friendly. This is a hotel I would strongly recommend.

FranceI think the gym should be ready for use at anytime - I spent 30 min moving stuff around and plugging machines to be able to use it ....
Staff was very welcoming and helpful - this hotel is really well well decorated and you really enjoy the Camargue way of life. The pool is great - and you can do horse ridding right on property! Loved it

the hotel is a jewel, family oriented with very friendly approach. Classy decoration, in the middle of the nature, peaceful and quiet.

FranceUnfortunately we did not know that the restaurant was closed that evening.
The friendliness and the efficiency of the staff were exceptional. The location of the room and its terrace gives you the impression of being surrounded by the reed of the Camargue - very quiet.

SwitzerlandRoom was a little bit too small (almost no place for luggages). Air conditionning was really noisy, impossible to use when sleeping
Charming place, like a tiny house. Very cosy. The swimming pool was original and there was a service on pool side

FranceWe were a little disappointed with breakfast: the buffet always looked a bit empty, mainly sweet things (croissant, jams), no veggie option, eggs are done on order which is nice but then they come in a little bowl as a plain and small portion, the fried egg wasn’t cooked at all :/ The restaurant only offers a single seated 3-course menu for lunch and dinner and there wasn’t much of an atmosphere so we went to town (5min drive) if we wanted to eat something more simple and have a drink. Drinks are quite expensive (15€ for Aperol Spritz!) so we didn’t spend too much time at the hotel which is a shame because the location is gorgeous. We would have loved a drink and snack by the pool! Overall we thought it was overpriced. The room was cute but nothing special about it, it wasn’t very big, the walls are thin, no drinking water (I had to ask for it), the terrasse didn’t offer a lot of intimacy as it is on the main walking path, and only separated from other rooms by a thin straw wall… Overall it was a pretty hotel in a gorgeous location but lacking of a welcoming atmosphere, with prices too high for the level of service.
Cute boutique hôtel with 20 rooms, all with a little terrasse, surrounded by the birds. A nice little getaway in a natural reserve. The hotel is nicely decorated, with a little pool. Bed was comfy. Bathroom clean and modern. The restaurant offers a 3-course menu, we had dinner once which we liked very much as it was local and fresh produce.

United States of AmericaStaff was super nice and helpful and made wonderful recommendations about things to do. The property had a beautiful pool and a coral of beautiful white horses across the way. The room was nice and clean, smelled amazing upon check-in, with a great sitting space in front. The location was within 15 minutes walking to town. Would definitely stay here again.

LuxembourgThe breakfast choice was a bit limited, lacking savoury hot food. It was too heavily based on fruits and sugary treats. In my case, I did not particularly enjoy having absolutely no choice at dinner: a set menu that was mostly based on vegetables. Regarding the room, some items need to be replaced eg hairdryer with low power, but these are minor issues. Still, the hotel is expensive when compared to other 4 star hotels, so you would not expect these inconveniences.
My wife and I enjoyed being immersed in nature and at the same time having a relaxing dip in the swimming pool late in the afternoon. Walking among reeds to go to the room instead of the usual long hotel corridors was a refreshing change. My wife really enjoyed the dinner because it was experimental and the staff was very attentive to her allergies. The wines were particularly good. The staff was always friendly and willing to help. This was a different travel experience to the usual hotel stay.

United KingdomThere is nothing to not like at all. There are no criticisms to make ..
It's a wonderful area and it's a lovely hotel which is both comfortable and tasteful. Wonderful staff. We were surprised at first that it was a set menu each day with no choice however they clearly have excellent chefs as the food was without exception delicious snd to an exceptional standard.

United KingdomThe hotel listing on Booking.com is slightly misleading. The hotel is adjoining a stable yard which does encroach on the hotel atmosphere. The pool is not clean, most likely due to the dusty location of the hotel not lack of care. Overall the decor is lovely, but it is perhaps not a 4 star establishment.
The staff were lovely, Max was very welcoming and provided us with lots of information about the area, and the hotel. He also upgraded us as the hotel was not fully occupied.

GermanyI have to say that this is one of the worst rooms i ever stayed in a hotel. We booked a room of 14 qm, which of course is not large to expect but the room design was so bad that the bathroom including shower was almost as large as the bedroom. The bedroom was so small that there was no chair, coat stand, wardrobe or anything to put your stuff except a tiny table in the corner which was already full with a water heater, two cups, a bottle of water and the information folder. Despite this being a 4 star hotel, we didn't even have enough space to place our two suitcases on the ground. The small board was in the bathroom as the bedroom was too small. The bedroom was right in front of the glass window/door were people walked by to get to their rooms - hence, you had to close the roller shutters (or in this case a gate door as the rooms are old horse stables) when you were in the room. As there were no other windows, you had no daylight in the bedroom. The room didn't get cleaned well, at least it didn't use a vacuum cleaner and on the 3rd day the room was full of hairs and sand. The restaurant was good, but it was also very pricy overall, (especially the drinks with cappuccino 6Euro for example). The Wifi in the room did barely work, we couldn't even plan tours via google maps. The sun shades couldn't be used when it is windy. Which is fine, but there was not a single sun bed with natural shade. I have never experienced anything similar for a 4 star hotel with 340 Euro per night. Hence, i can only give 4 star for the restaurant being okay and the people being nice. We would not recommend at all.
The stuff was nice and the dinner tasted good.

GermanyThe restaurant was unexpectedly closed on the day of our arrival - the sole purposes of staying here as we had heard many good things about it and had hoped to celebrate an anniversary there, leaving us with very little.optiin other than a beach bar that was recommended and booked by the hotel, which was ok, but not much more than that. Breakfast was also not particularly inspiring and not worth the price.
The location is great - very quiet and serene. The mosquito blinds in the room were a treat as one can sleep with the windows open at night and enjoy the breeze.
