Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

FranceVery nice place to stay for a WE with a Family (here 2 and 6 years old), they installed a baby bed, we had a double room, 1 for the kids, 1 for us. The Mas de Sylvereal is beautiful, you can have a delicious breakfast outside in the garden. The tenant couple and the staff are absolutely lovely. The mase is located in central area of Camargue, everything is very close by...10-15min driving. They can arrange for you a horse car tour for kids, or horse riding and provide very good advise. There is a restaurant ( de silvereal) 50m away, very nice and cosy (independant from the hotel) which can host adults and kids...very good food as well. We strongly recommend this Mas in Camargue, very good value for money.

CanadaThe beds are not that comfy. I booked two different rooms at different price but both were fairly small. A bigger room for three people would have been much better with all the laguagge we had not enough space. But we arrived late in the evening so weren't able to communicate on site but had instructions to our room. I could have ask to change rooms the next day but left it. A misstake when you stay more than 3 days. I should have changed it!
Cute, small, old country hotel in beautiful hertitage building run by lovely family.

SloveniaIt bothered us that the estate is completely isolated (main road and fences all around) and it is not possible to take walks in the nearby surroundings.
Breakfast takes place in a beautiful garden, which made our days even better already in the morning.

CanadaThe sheets were too big for the bed but nothing to worry about. The sounds of the birds in the tiles above us was a bit worrying during the night but again just something to get used to.
We only discovered with had air conditioning on the second night when it was so hot and stuffy. The surroundings are lovely. Sitting in the garden for breakfast was so nice.

United States of AmericaA fridge in the room would be perfect and would really help especially if u just want to have some cold water late in the evening or sit and drink a Glas of Rose in the courtyard which we managed one evening when the reception was open.
We arrived in the evening to a Luke warm welcome. Maybe Alain was busy. Our room was ok nothing special and authentic about it. Few things needed improvement like a shower curtain would be nice so when showering the floor does not get all wet. But Alain said it was one of the few things he had on his list of todo‘s. We had to cancel our horse riding trip due to my wife having to go to hospital at midnight and Alain gracefully let us cancel last min with no charges. We had a short but comfortable trip and if your looking for a simple off the best place it’s worth the stay. We saw some of the other rooms and they seemed nicer with more charm. Breakfast was basic like all hotels in this category in France.

GreeceHostile welcome from the hostess because we arrived 20 mins before the check in at 3 o’clock and we rang the bell. She kept us out of the locked reception door for ar leasr 15 minutes before she opened to us and very angrily scolded us because we had woken them from their siesta. Can you imagine? The place is in the middle of nowhere and we even thought that we had come to the wrong place! The room had no conveniences at all. They didn’t even have extra toilet paper, nor replaced the paper glasses we had used the first day. The hosts were nowhere to be seen during our stay.No hospitality at all.

ItalyThe room is a bit dark, the bathroom is very small and without a window. There was a constant smell of humidity but we didn't complain given that the facility is a countryside mansion and is surrounded by the Camargue marshes. If you're looking for a super comfortable experience, probably this is not the best choice.
Breakfast was amazing. We enjoyed the location of the Mas and the hospitality of the staff. We also appreciated the opportunity to reserve a horse ride in the Camargue natural park. The room was fresh and there was air conditioning. The facility offers a wide courtyard where guests can relax and have breakfast.
