Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomNothing.
We really liked the fact that we were staying outside Perpignan because we did not find the city very appealing. We loved the spaciousness of Mas Latour Lavail and the friendliness and attentiveness of Aurélie, who looked after us at breakfast. We also liked the availability of a selection of wine at the honesty bar.

NetherlandsLocation is not very inviting and also quite inconvenient: before booking we had planned to walk into town for dinner (which seemed perfectly doable from a distance perspective), but that definitely is not advisable. Window in our room could not be opened, so no fresh air during the night. Breakfast could really have been more generous to do justice to the hotel (and the room rate).
Small hotel (just five rooms) in a beautifully refurbished building, providing a very stylish yet cosy atmosphere. Very friendly reception and service. Honesty bar with good wines, so self catering in a way (one of those typical small hotel benefits)!

SpainIt is s bit isolated. So, without car it is impossible to get anywhere but it is also s plus if you are looking for a pure relaxation and an idyllic spot.
Beautifully decorated hotel, newly refurbished to high standards, the bed was very comfortable, fresh, crispy linen, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. It was a nice touch to “feel at home” policy that we could serve ourselves with the local very tasty wines.

SwitzerlandIt was all good.
Mas Letour Lavail is a lovely, beautifully restored villa just outside Perpignan. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was enjoyable and the staff, Amelie and her colleague, were very kind and helpful. The villa has a small outdoor pool (too cold to use) and a sauna. We had a delightful stay! Many thanks, Norm and Marion

United States of AmericaGiven the size of the room, and the fact that cold air drops, it took some effort to keep the loft bedroom at a comfortable sleeping temperature in the oppressive summer heat. The description was unclear. I thought the kitchen was in the room, but it's communal, which was no problem. But I arrived with food, expecting an equipped kitchen, but it doesn't have a cook top or oven. So just a heads-up if you plan to do much more than eat fresh or microwaved food. The description also mentioned bikes were available, but when we checked them out, they weren't in great condition and clearly hadn't been used in some time. The wifi is fairly limited to the main and dining areas and around the pool, so don't expect much, if any, reception in your personal room.
What a great space! And due to the limited number of rooms and guests, we felt like we had the place to ourselves, even though it was high tourist season. The staff was super friendly.

United KingdomNothing to dislike. Just take care with the sat nav ours took us to a dirt road to the chateau whereas there was a hardcore road available. Both were sign posted to the hotel, so if you see a small white sign post DON’T take it if you value your suspension.
Everything our room was lovely, used the pool and sauna. Our view was the house vineyards the pool was a god send due to the heat of the day. There was no restrictions on the use of the pool which was great. There was an honesty bar, vineyard wines, water, beer soft drink all available for you.One had full use of the fully equipped kitchen and dining facilities.Food at breakfast was delicious and good quality and quantity. There were 2 different hostesses who were very knowledgeable and helpful.

My wife and I were travelling from Paris to Perpignan and had the pleasure of staying at Mas Latour Lavail. It is a B&B five minutes out of Perpignan. Aurelie made us feel very welcome and gave us a tour and told us the history of the winery. She also prepared a delicious breakfast for us. The room was very well appointed, and the bed was comfortable. It was an excellent stay, and we would definitely recommend this B&B to anyone who wants an exceptional experience.

United KingdomNo feather pillows and mattress a bit firm for my wife's liking... but with blackout blinds, I slept like a log!
Had the run of the place to ourselves. Sauna, jacuzzi, plunge pool. Big cavernous old wine cellar converted into top quality B&B festooned with bottles of the owner's wine labels. Simple but tasty local Catalan breakfast. Manager very welcoming and helpful. And all just 10 mins from Perpignan.

GermanyI was there in January and the AC is used as a heater. The problem is, that it was a little bit to weak to fill the complete room. Secondly, the Sauna was not getting really hot. I guess this can easily be fixed with some better isolation.
The scenery is wonderful. The big open spaces, lovely living / dining area and a cute room to stay. I really loved the breakfast.

United States of AmericaGreat breakfast, spacious parking, light filled room with a terrace. We had a very comfortable bed, & a quiet room with modern shower & amenities. Loved the environment - it is within 5-10minutes to the city by car and easy access to the motorways to get to various points of interest. We invited friends over for an aperitif and enjoyed some great Clos de paulilles wine. You can also BYO dinner etc and warm it up. Aurelie, our hostess, was amazing! She was very helpful with local services, suggestions, and went beyond to help us feel at home in Perpignan.
