We were unlucky to arrive in the hotel when the reception was closed (20:30), the restaurant was closed (annual leave during Christmas and NewYear)

An elevator would be practical for the third floor Unfortunately (and not the responsibility of the hotel but due to the wonderful location in the middle of small lakes), it was shield beetle season.....

Not much else nearby - a bonus for us but if you want bright lights you'll need to drive.

A quiet location, on an island, between the three branches of the Rhine and its canals and alongside a small nature reserve. Clean modern comfortable hotel, with on site parking, and with hard working welcoming and attentive staff. Rooms have balconies with rural river views. An easy drive to Colmar or back across into Germany. This hotel was an oasis of calm in what can be quite a hectic tourist hotspot - highly recommended for a short stay.

Interesting location between Rhine channels, with " wild" creek bubbling by and lots of ducks and swans. Fabulous building and rooms - tile, wood, beautiful finishing touches. Nice restaurant, great ambience, very good food.

Unfortunately we arrived for dinner and were told that they had stopped serving hot food. It was our wedding anniversary and we had travelled a considerable distance so this was disappointing news. They did agree to make us a light hot meal which was some compromise.

The hotel room was very spacious with lovely fixtures and fittings and a wonderful view of the lake. The general facilities were very good and breakfast was lovely.

excellent for a one night stop over when traveling north to south or south to north. it’s a nice quiet location on the Rhine island between the Rhine river and the Alsace canal - surrounded by nature, on the boarder between france and germany. very friendly personal and excellent dinner restaurant - we enjoyed the freshly made flammenkuchen.

I had reserved a two-bed room, and we received a one-bed room, so I ended up getting a second room. Nothing particularly nearby, as far as restaurants, etc., go.

Very quiet location on an island in the Rhine. Close to bicycle path. Good restaurant (although not many vegetarian or gluten free options). Good breakfast. Indoor bike storage room.

Probably the most expensive hotel in the area but still seemed quite cheap after traveling from Switzerland

Very nice location with great view. Room had full length glass doors to a balcony overlooking a small pond with swans and ducks. Staff were very helpful and rooms were excellent with tea/coffee, minibar and fridge.

The bed was a little soft.

This was a lovely hotel, sitting on a quiet island, with a very nice restaurant. So nice o noticed a number of people coming over from the mainland.

The breakfast could be better. It was ok but the buffet was really small

We had a nice and modern room with a great view. Be careful with the reservation. there’s two types of room’s, older ones and renovated ones. First night we stayed in the older one which was in really bad condition (e. g. worn bed) but we had a chance to switch to the modern one for the rest of our stay. The view was great
