Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ItalyGreat apartment in the main square of the old town so everything is walking distance. It is comfortable, clean and has everything you might need. The host was very welcoming and provided us with great suggestions on restaurants and places to go, we recommend it!

United KingdomNothing. Everything needed for a short stay was provided. Public transport around L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue is generally infrequent and it is important to get the SNCF TER/Zou! timetable for Marseilles to Avignon via Cavaillon (and v.v.) railway service; and the Zou! 906 bus service Avignon to L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue (and v.v.).
Location right in the centre of this charming village, opposite the church and next to numerous cafes and shops on your doorstep. Superb private terrace. Attractive bars, bistros, shops and restaurants are only a short stroll away, and all roads lead to the pretty Sorgue river. Very helpful tourist information office on the opposite side of the church.

New ZealandWhen you have been away for 6 weeks travelling - think no lifts and only stairs and there were a lot of them - it would be good to know this prior - we organised bags and returned some to our car which was located close by. Very narrow and small spiral stairs - Be preapred for a little noise - it was saturday and there is a rugby bar below which was late and rowdy - we were in the back but you could still hear the goings on - Im sure there is a reason that check in cant happen till 5pm - might be due to the entrance of cars etc - didnt know about the luggage cart until we left but if it was the one out the front painted red it was full of plants and had flat tyres so not ideal
Organised and easy to access - we enjoyed our one night stay in this beautiful town - it was amazing location. What a beautiful village - huge apartment - quiet as it was at the back - it had lovely light and a wonderful airconditioner - as it was so hot !- the bathroom was amazing and being able to do washing a treat! The kitchen was big - wasnt sure if there was going to be breakfast provisions as that wasnt mentioned but thats ok - nice to have a large apartment if you were to stay here for longer you would have everything you needed and utilise the amazing markets twice a week - check in was easy enough a little confusion over the car parking and the times etc -but re reading the info which was communiated through whats app and bookings it was good to get the fine details to make it easy so thank you to Veronique - driving in these little narrow towns is a challenge - we had also found this in uzes and bazas so were getting used to it - everything was immacculate - it was nice to come and go as you please with the door code and be so close to the church and wonderful places to eat - would recommend since breakfast is not provided to eat at Cafe de France in the square - about 100m from Coin de Luberon. - great lunch there also. Thanks again.

IrelandVeronique was most welcoming, and assured us of her availability if we had any problems. It was very kind of her to provide us with a bottle of wine in the fridge, and tea/coffee and other essentials in the cupboard. The apartment is beautifully decorated and very well equipped. The location is excellent for access to the many interesting shops and restaurants in the town. We had a lovely stay here.

United KingdomWe stayed in apartment “Henri”. We had a great welcome and the apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. It had a very comfortable bed and sofa and chairs on the terrace. The air conditioning worked well in the bedroom and living space. The location was awesome- so central in this beautiful town! We couldn’t believe how the church square was transformed on Sunday morning, without us hearing anything- we opened the street door to the most amazing market!

United States of AmericaPlease be aware that there are no windows overlooking the street at the front. The only source of light/ air was the door to the terrasse at the back of the property. The bathroom is also very bijou.
The location was amazing in the middle of the village, a step away from bars and restaurants and the 2x weekly market is in front of your door. It is closed off to cars so you have to park a short walk away (free parking) and take your luggage into the town. Everything that you needed was available including washing/dishwasher tabs. The host was amazingly helpful and concerned for your well being. We loved the little terrasse we had. The apartment was very tastefully decorated.

United States of AmericaLayout was tight in the bath, but it was very well laid out. Parking was 350m away, but that is the price you pay for being in the center of town.
Location was great, right on main town square. Room with balcony on interior courtyard was very nice. Kitchen was very efficient and availability of laundry was big bonus that we didn't have time to take advantage of. Host was very helpful and was waiting to welcome us.
