Bathroom/toilet set up was a bit odd, albeit functional- a bit cramped. Breakfast seemed pricey so was skipped in favour of a stroll up to the top of town

This hotel is all about the location, which is fantastic- just look at the photos! We ate a very good dinner in a lively hotel restaurant. A little later in the year and dinner on the terrace would have been even better. Generously sized room (17).

The hotel location couldn't be better. It sits on the river itself overlooking the castle and old town. The hotel has a riverside terrace where you can enjoy the views and a glass of the local wine. Clisson itself straddles the river, with bars and cafes on the side where the hotel is and the castle, historic old town and great views on the other side. Our evening meal was really enjoyable with truly different dishes to taste along with another local wine! Breakfast was just as enjoyable in a nice unrushed environment. We will definitely be back!

The sloping roof of our room, which meant no view, or a very restricted view at best. This was not clear from the room description. The bathroom mirror was faulty and was flickering throughout our 3 night stay despite reporting it early on in our stay.

The spacious room and lovely bathroom with excellent shower. The restaurant with its excellent food and which had a stunning view of the chateau. The pool was very refreshing after a busy day sightseeing. The great location was excellent for the local places of interest.

Food and drink over priced eg 16 euros for breakfast. The surly waitress in the restaurant. Seating in the bedroom uncomfortable.

We had a very nice stay. The location is excellent, facilities and spa clean and resourceful. Breakfast is rich, tasteful and has a lot of healthy choices.

AC was not functioning and the weather was very hot. At least you can open the window. Price was quite high, but I understand it had to be because of the event happening.

The staff was very friendly, helpful and spoke almost perfect english. Pool was fantastic, water was refreshingly warm. Breakfast was okay. Location is perfect, with great view from the windows.

Minor irritations only that didn't detract from the pleasure of the hotel at all. Missed having drawers to put my clothes in - don't like living out of a suitcase. Missed having hand cream for after washing my hands, and hair conditioner. Didn't bother packing either as they are normally part of 4* bathrooms.

Had a very comfortable room with an excellent view of the River Sevre and the castle.

Typical Best Western Hotel with Parking in lovely location in small town of Clisson. Nice sunny bar terrace outside and restaurant facility. Pets welcome.

25 mi Utes for someone to come and take a drink order- not impressive far too busy clearing empty tables while NOT looking around

we stayed on a Sunday and there were no facilities available to us. the restaurant was closed and so was the bar. couldn’t even get a drink. Also most places in Clisson were closed too.

Hotel was quite difficult to find, but Google got us there. Dont be put off when finding yourself on what appears to be a pedestrian/cycle path! Room was quite noisy from the terrace area below and corridor until late.

Very good sized room (room 20) and terrace with castle view, spacious bathroom with excellent shower, v pleasant pool area, excellent food in v comfortable restaurant & on sunny terrace by river. Very happy to find an electric charging point in carpark. Central in Clisson so easy to explore on foot from the hotel.

The cleaning staff in the 3rd level had BO every day 😳

The location and the view were absolutely incredible. This town was a little hidden gem in our travels. The room was perfect for us, the beds were so comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. We stayed in room 43 which is perfect for a family of 4 akd has the most amazing view directly onto the castle ruins, the river and the beautiful Tuscan style building. Loved it all!
