Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaVery narrow & steep stairway, small bathroom. Not a huge issue for me, but I could see how older solo travelers could struggle. The smaller basement rooms are quite humid.
Convenient location; near restaurants, grocery, and transit stops. A good place for access and exploration of central London, particularly for short stays.

United KingdomMyself and my partner had stayed in this hotel previously in 2018, and unfortunately our stay did not live up to expectations as the hotel was in the process of being renovated on our previous stay. We found our bedroom to be clean (just) but the decor was very outdated, walls could do with a lick of paint and the carpet could be changed as you could tell it was very old and worn out. Double bed was more like a single bed and was very uncomfortable trying to sleep in.
Location of the hotel was excellent: short walk from restaurants, grocery shops, cafés and a short distance from Victoria Station.

United KingdomThe room I had this visit had a window from the room into the corridor without blackout, so lots of light came into the room all night.
I stay here quite a lot so no surprises. Great Location, always clean. Fans fitted in the room, to keep good air circulation.

United KingdomThe room was very tired and not in good condition. The walls in my room had quite a few holes and marks, the carpet was not in great condition and fraying and so it was hard to tell how clean it was. The outside condition of the property was also not great, the outside of my window was rotten. Room pricing is strange, my friend paid £20 extra for a 'double' room (single occupancy, that was just all they had left) but her room was the same size as our other friends and all 3 rooms (2 singles and a double) had the same size beds in, which were all small doubles.
The location was absolutely fantastic, less than a 10 minute walk from the train station and close to attractions like Buckingham palace and Big Ben. The toilet and shower was clean, as was the bed plus the bed was comfy. The room was *very* small but was ideal for two nights and the location couldn't have been better.

AustraliaUnprofessional staff. The reception is 24 hrs however, staff are not in uniform and asleep on shift. There are no door signs to request new coffee cups, a freshen up room, water glasses, towels, toilet paper etc. Advertised that it had Netflix, that was not available. Tv turned on and off during the night had to turn it off at the wall switch. No power points above the bedside tables to charge phone.
The location was very convenient

United KingdomSorry I put it all above pros and cons
The room I booked was a triple with en-suite I travelled with an adult and child (both teenagers) and found the room to be on the small side. The bathroom was equally as small and felt like we was in a cabin type room. The curtain were stained but sheets clean and gray towels. The receptionist lady was lovely and chatty. The men plural as there were probably around 5 sat around the reception area daily and nightly gambling which wasn’t a problem but with you get children I think this would have been quite u comfortable for families . My two are older so didn’t really bother them too much. Overall we paid £200 for two nights and even though the location was excellent I just wish the bedroom would have bee. Bigger and more modern. The hair dryer didn’t work. But there was tea and coffee facilities which was good☺️

LithuaniaThe room was definitely photographed by a professional, because it doesn't look nearly as good in real life. For 130€ a night (that's after conversion), the room is completely overpriced. It was in half level, everything seemed outdated, the lampshades were askew, the carpet old and worn out, the bathroom barely big enough to turn around - to brush your teeth, you have to open the doors to have at least some room to work with a tiny sink without splashing water everywhere. The bathroom door is basically a slider, so don't expect any privacy if you're sharing the room with somone else. There were kids upstairs in the late evening (not sure if it was a room or the entrance to the hotel) and they were running up and down - the walls were literally vibrating. We left our baggage in "storage" before checking in, and we were instructed to leave it in the middle of the entrance room - it felt really unsafe. For one night, the room would be ok, but ONLY if the price was cut in half. Price was ridiculous.
Location.

PeruThere was a very strong armpit smell in reception and the room was not very clean. The kettle was not working and it was very difficult to find a plug to charge the mobile. The heater was not working.
The hotel is close to many amenities. Love the location and the fact the you can walk to many attractions if the weather allow you.
