Couldn't get the sauna to work. Food was expensive for what we had. Definitely take advantage of being so isolated.

Upgraded to a suite. Bed was very comfortable so a good night's sleep.

We were very pleasantly surprised with Cluanie Inn! The scenery is breathtaking and the room was perfect. The shower was the best we had in our whole time in Scotland. Dinner and breakfast were also both delicious with great variety. Highly recommend!

Goh, maybeeeee the bathroom: we had a room adapted for people in wheelchair. So the bathroom was not ideal for us. But whatever, we had the most incredible view on the mountains and reindeer at our window. So no: the room was great.

Location location location. It's incredible: between the mountains and lakes, almost nothing around. Just one road. The location is fabulous. Food is good. Staff is very helpfull. And the rooms are spacious and very comfy. The bed is perfection.

The surrounding is good. We arrived quite late which the restaurant is almost close. So, the staff was so nice and suggested us to get dinner and come back for check-in later. The food at restaurant is so great as well.

Very well place in the middle of the the valley . Very Wild with the visit of a dear in the morning in front of our window room!!! The hotel decoration is cool .

We liked everything. Maybe the only little thing is that we had a room for handicapes people so the bathroom was not suited for us. But that was only a little thing that bothered us

What to write here when so happy? With a nice big bathroom, it'd have been nice to have had the option of a bath rather than only a shower to ease muscles and joints after a day's hiking! And the ceiling creaked a bit when guests above walked around. But really, neither of these things remotely spoiled our stay.

"You get what you pay for" was true. The room rate and dinner menu were certainly not a bargain, but the whole experience said "quality quality quality". All really excellent: a very friendly welcome, a spotless, spacious room with a truly stunning view, 2x delicious dinners, a breakfast buffet loaded with high quality options, and kind and efficient service always, this really was a treat. Oh - and the location. We were hillwalking, so had the total joy of one day starting walking at the door of the hotel and ending the day walking off the hill into the bar for a cool pint of locally-brewed beer.

Food a little pricey and then service charge automatically added on top. Too warm in the dining room at breakfast.

The cost of food is extortionate (like the fuel) and the quality of the indian dishes didnt warrant the price.

Tended to be a tad overheated in bedroom and breakfast room. No one at reception for checkout.

Warmth. Rustic feel very appropriate to the location. Room was lovely with scenic outlook, overlooking snow covered mountains with deer grazing in the morning. Dinner was pre-booked as knew there weren’t other nearby options but didn’t need them as the menu was great. Breakfast was very comprehensive. Great breakfast area and breakfast staff were very hospitable. Appreciated the later breakfast time.
