The only tiny complaint was the noise from the wedding that was being hosted at the hotel’s venue (our wedding was elsewhere) though we were so tired we eventually fell asleep regardless.

Lovely spacious room, dated interior but fine as we just needed a place to stay! Good water pressure from shower and toiletries provided. Very friendly staff and we were able to check in early.

The exterior of the building is looking very dirty and the gardens are looking awful , which is a shame because when it first opened it all looked amazing

Breakfast is freshly cooked to order. Waiting staff are lovely , reception staff are lovely.

The breakfast was a little confusing as no menu supplied, so had to be explained by the waitress. Might help the staff if it gets busy, to have a printed menu. You have to get in the car visit a nearby pub as none within walking distance.

Room was a good size and furnished well. Plenty of storage space, beds comfortable. Good bathroom with shower and bath. Breakfast was cooked to order, also a selection of cereals, yoghurts, pastries and preserves. The room was quiet. Plenty of car parking. Staff pleasant and helpful.

The only thing, that let this hotel down was the view from the windows, the hotel is set in lovely countryside but surrounded by other commercial buildings, the hotel could be vastly improved if more landscaping was done, especially at the front of the hotel entrance and carpark.

I only stayed one night for an event, the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast the next morning was really good and plenty of choice. However, the staff went above and beyond when I realised I had lost my necklace in my room which was of great sentimental value to me, I didn't realize until I got home. As soon as I informed the hotel, they were quick to respond and searched the room twice! and to my relief they found it and it was safely returned to me. I would have no hesitation in staying there again or recommending it.

The exterior or the hotel, especially the car park, flower beds and view from the back out of the breakfast room were rather disappointing and didn't reflect the interior of the hotel, staff and quality of the accommodation, which we could not fault. First impression are important.

The staff were excellent, friendly and attentive. the rooms were very comfortable and clean. breakfast was very good quality and plenty available.

The single bed was a little short for my height and the mattress was a little bit firm. Also couldn't get the water at the right temperature for the shower but overall the sleep was okay

Heating wasn't on on arrival, had to call reception but they apologised and turned it on. A bit expensive.

The condition of the carpark and outside of the hotel looked as though some maintainence was required.

The room was of a good size and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was also well sized and easy to manouver around. The hotel bar had a good selection of drinks and the staff were most personable. This stay was for a race weekend at the very near by Clay Pigeon Kart Raceway and this hotel is perfect as it takes just over a minute to get there. The recommendations for a near by pub were good.

It was a pity the hotel was virtually closed and we were the only guest that night. I'm sure when it is fully-functioning, there is little not-to-like.

The room and the WIFI were excellent. Unfortunately, the dining room and bar were closed and there was only one member of staff on site in the day.

The hotel is far from all amenities. The restaurant and bar on site are closed and the nearest place to eat is few miles away and can be reached by car only. Don't expect to find a table unless you have booked in advance, we spent our first evening driving around for couple of hours trying to find a decent place to have a meal and ended up going to off licence we came across and had sandwiches in our room. The hotel is perfect for a place to sleep only, not a holiday base.

The room was spacious and very clean although the decor was a little dated. The bed was big and mattress very comfortable. Sheets and towels crisp white. Very quiet for a good night sleep. The bathroom was spotless, excellent water pressure. We had everything we needed in the room. A small fridge would have been very useful especially as there is no bar/restaurant on site. Staff were very polite and accommodating.

The curtains were poor allowing light into the room early morning and disturbing sleep. Could do well with installing black out curtains.
