Nothing regarding the hotel; property was really well appointed. Stayed for 3 nights, requested kippers on 2 days consecutively to be told there was none. Limited my breakfast options; I chose Eggs Benedict on one day and the poached eggs were solid.

In a great location, really close to the tram stop and a few minutes away from Princes street. Hotel bar / breakfast room has lots of original features and really lovely. Staff very good, they work extremely hard. Hotel room was spotless, cleaned every day.

Curtains in unit did not shut out light due to 2 streetlights close outside. Bathroom shower had Very slippery floor and no handholds; otherwise very modern and easy to use

The hotel is a 15-minute walk to the city centre, so it is easily walkable. But if possible, there are certainly buses that run as well. For this, use the M-Tickets app there the tickets are a bit cheaper and you can buy them in advance. The hotel has very friendly staff. The room is clean but not top clean. Beds are good. If you are on the top floor it can get a bit hotter ( especially if you are on the sun side). But there is a fan in the room so keep the curtain closed and the fan on then it is fine. The continental breakfast is simple but good enough. We had booked extra and with that you could choose from 6 hot different breakfast options. Then you can carry on until the evening ;-). So definitely a hotel that is recommendable considering the location, staff, breakfast and bed. A 30-minute tram ride from the airport gets you to the hotel. From the Tram station to the hotel is just across the street and turn the corner.

Hot breakfast options were made to order, so if the kitchens backed up you do wait a while. We waited about 30 min. But it was very tasty and there is a continental buffet with coffee you can help yourself to.

the cozy double room was quaint, clean, and comfortable. Location is great if you're relying on public transportation as it's only a couple minutes from Haymarket Station which provides bus or tram routes to the airport every 10 minutes or so . Plenty of restaurants and pubs nearby. It is a 20+ minute walk to city center, which I didn't mind, but some may prefer the bus, our maybe even a hop on/off bus to get to various sites around town.

Hotel split in different buildings. Not a big problem but going from room to breakfast for example if it rains can be an issue.

The WiFi and TV did not have a consistent reception. The toiletries were basic.

Our room was in the building to the right of the main building: The Wifi connected, but with no internet access. We mentioned this at reception and the Wifi was reset. But later it didn’t have access to the internet again. I didn’t bother asking about it again.

I got room in the basement, so I had to go thru some narrow stairs. I firstly didn't believed that this passage is for guests

breakfast and service were great. Maybe continental breakfast is enough. Stuff was super helpful and nice. Best part for me was the location. Next to the tram station with direct connection to airport.

We left our bags there as we couldn’t check in. When we returned later, had bags were just left in the bar and they had to search to find them.
