If we were being picky, the room was a little dark and one with more of a view would have been nice.

Ideal location for an AO Arena gig with a secure car park just over the road. Comfy bed, spacious shower and nice buffet breakfast with plenty of choice. We were also able to store our bags after checkout until we were ready to leave the city.

The only problem I had was I paid for a premium twin room which said it came with a seating area in the room however because only 2 people stayed in the room they removed the seating.

The hotel was clean with friendly staff and the breakfast was great.

Rooms are far too small to have the sofa bed in there as well to make it a 3 birthday room, dining room needs to be bigger if breakfast is included for all guests, a few noisy hen parties coming in at early morning.

Location was perfect, no space in the room after the sofa bed was up though, crazy thin mattress on sofa bed, really not comfy, breakfast is insane busy, not enough seating but food was good

Ideally located for the AO Arena and the print works car park was only 3 minutes away. Offers a discount if staying with Holiday Inn. Very comfortable and enjoyed the breakfast. Would definitely return

The bed felt a little small - it was a standard double rather than a queen. However, there was a settee. Plenty of sockets but no usb charging point.

Staff were friendly and welcoming. Room was clean and comfortable, with a kettle (Nescafe sachets and Tetleys tea). Shower was spacious and worked well. Small range of complimentary items available on request, if you had forgotten your toothbrush, for instance. The help yourself breakfast offered a number of options - full English with bacon, sausage, scrambled egg, hash browns and baked beans. There were mini pancakes, chocolate muffins, croissants, toast and baps, as well as cereals and jam, honey, Nutella etc. Hot drinks included tea, coffee and mocha.

There was no cupboard or chest of drawers (aside from a small space to hang up clothes), so most suitable as a place to stop over for one or two nights rather than a longer stay.

The room was clean, comfortable and a good size. Check in and check out was very easy and staff were friendly and courteous. The location was great.

The aircon was under maintenance when I stayed there. The air in the room was hence very still and a bit musty. Told the staff and they brought a small standing fan which was just enough to get the job done. The mattress was lumpy and felt very worn.

It was conveniently located within walking distance of Arndale and Shudehill Station. The staff were extremely helpful. The included breakfast had variety and was good. The room and bathroom was clean.

The shower had bad drainage and certain parts of the room could be updated as it made the room look a little tired.

Can't complain about anything.

The hotel is in a good location, a few minutes walk from the train station and very close to pubs, restaurants and the venue we should have been attending that evening. Unfortunately, we had to leave early due to a family emergency. I cannot comment on the comfort of the beds or the quality of the breakfast, as we had to check out the same day we arrived, although we did note that the rooms were very clean. We would like to say a special thank you to Lucy, who was lovely and friendly when she initially checked us in. She proved what a good staff member she is when we saw her later to explain we had to check out early, her genuine concern and warmth was so touching. She showed excellent customer service by passing my details on to a manager, Liju who then contacted me very promptly to offer a voucher for a future stay. We are very grateful for this, we will definitely be back and hope to stay overnight next time. Thank you!

High cholesterol breakfast, but inevitable when it comes to hotel breakfast in England. On our second night the fire alarm went off 5.30 in the morning, all the hotel guests rushed out into the corridor only to find out it was a false alarm. However we couldn’t go to sleep again and that day was partly ruined. Asked for a 20% refund for that particular night, but my request was dismissed. However it is not too late, the hotel management should look into the matter again and I will give the hotel the 10 point rating I would have given the hotel if it hadn’t been for this faulty fire alarm system.

Breakfast was very busy around 8.30 and a bit chaotic. I would recommend earlier or later visit to the Breakfast area.

Friendly and helpful staff. Hotel is handy for Northern Quarter culture. We walked to the New Century in 20 minutes.
