To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomFirst its undergoing refurbishment and I was woken both morning at 7am with hammering from the room below. This will obviously be over soon, but it's too early to allow work to start. Shoes a lack of consideration for guests. Second - I had a newly refurbished room which was of a good standard, but the bathroom design is poor. The way the door opens means you have to step into the shower to get access to the sink and toilet. Third, the bar closes at 11.30. One of the advantages of a hotel should be extended bar hours. I was returning after 11.30 and would have appreciated a beer!

United KingdomThe first room (standard double) we were given was just awful. Ground floor, not much light. They should be ashamed to even offer it to anyone. In the end we opted to ‘upgrade’ the room by paying an extra £40 a night. That room , was great.
Great location. Well placed for most of central London. All in all not bad value.

My daughter partly uses a wheelchair (she has long covid) and the Staff were excellent in caring about making sure we had rooms next to each other, had an early check in, she knew someone was responsible for her in the event of an evacuation, checking everything was OK (aircon needed tweaking) - they were warm, caring, professional and friendly.

United Kingdomi asked twice for an iron and ironing board having been told by the reception that there was definitely one in the room and there wasn't. As I had no phone in the room I had to keep going down to reception to ask again for the iron until at last it arrived after 10pm. There was also no milk in the room for tea and coffee and I was told I had to call to the bar for that but as there was no phone i couldn't, badly organised,

United KingdomThe room was adequate and the facilities were ok. Not a great nights sleep, the bed was quite comfortable, but the pillow's were rock hard. I paid £16.95 for breakfast, nothing hot or cooked apart from toast. I didn't notice a small sign until the morning mentioning the restaurant refit, had I have done , I would have got breakfast elsewhere for a good deal less.
The location for my purposes was perfect.
