Both James and Marie were very friendly, extremely helpful and made our stay very comfortable. Our room had everything we could want. Breakfast was delicious and personal choices were always welcomed. The guest house was very clean. I minute walk to the sea and embankment and a short distance to several eateries. If you needed the bus this was very close by. I would go back again.

You have to give a breakfast time slot because the dining room does not fit the guest house occupancy capacity but the hosts are flexible if occupancy allows.

The location was perfect for us. It was in easy reach of the main attractions in Plymouth. The proprietors were lovely people who clearly go the extra mile to please their guests.

Room was too cramped, a suggestion would be to replace the large external wardrobe with a suitcase holder and a rack shelf. No point in having a large high tec TV if have the screen is not seen from the two sitting chairs. Also the ensuite shower was very large and should have been a highlight, replace the old shower head with a modern rain shower head, it would compensate for the lack of water pressure and make the experience far more memorable.

The room was spotless and the location was excellent. Parking, even though it was 5 pounds was a bonus.

We'd only booked for one night! Actually, we could not fault anything.

Entire property was well-maintained and clean. Breakfast was really excellent; the choices were very good and the quality was 100%. The owners are wonderful and so very helpful; nothing was too much trouble. Both of our two friends who stayed in another room were equally happy.

We had an amazing stay in this classic B&B! Mary and James were lovely hosts and the place was beautiful. Our room was very cute and thoughtfully decorated and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was a real highlight, both the cold and cooked options we tried were absolutely delicious. The location is also very good, only a few steps to the seafront and the park, and you can take a nice stroll down the promenade to get to Barbican. There was just a very welcoming atmosphere overall, we can't recommend this B&B enough.
