Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Parking is a bit limited.

It probably can't be helped but the sink is very noisy when it drains especially in the night. One of the sockets under the dining mirror needs attention as you can't push a pluh in all the way, right hand socket room 218
The room was lovely and had all the facilities you could want, nice and clean and comfy bed.

The only very tiny issue was that there was nothing to explain that the hob is child-locked. I got the impression that reception staff were asked quite a lot about it! Maybe a note in the kitchen area to explain, to save reception staff time? Once they explained, we got it to work perfectly!
Really convenient location, very comfortable bed and good kitchen facilities. Especially loved the free coffee and croissant included in the price

There was nothing to dislike
The hotel was so well located for the centre of Nottingham and was extremely good value for money. The apartment was a good size and really comfortable. Great option to have the parking as well for a good price. Overall, a fantastic find and one we’d come back to again.

Room rate changes too much. Would have stayed another night but room rate tripled.
Location was fantastic, 3 minute walk and was in town center. Room was by far the best I've stayed in while travelling around England.

My room didn’t have a chair at the desk which I needed to be able to work and when I asked for one it was told ‘there’s nothing I can do about that’ luckily a colleague in another room gave me theirs.
Location is perfect for the city centre (although beware of noise if there is a gig on at Rock City) The rooms are clean and the kitchenette has everything you need

Everything about this property was a 10/10, The staff were nice, friendly and extremely helpful. I travelled for a Concert in Rock City, this property was just down the road. It's location is perfect and close to the city. The room was one of the best I've had in a long time ( I travel a lot so need to mention that for sure) Would highly recommend and can't wait to go back.😃 The facilities that are provided in the room on top on TV etc (microwave, 2 hobs, dishwasher) I wish more hotels did this.

Power cut. No lights or aircon. Very uncomfortable but was back on within the hour. Bit grubby in places were cleaning was not great.

Read above, I had a really pleasant time there and there was no faults to find. Will definitely be staying again. Wonderful all round experience.
There wasn't anything to dislike, friendly staff when I arrived, very pleasant. Check in was really easy. Access to the coffee machine in the lobby was free (first hotel I've ever known that). The room itself was amazing, it had everything you could have ever asked for, extremely comfortable and very spacious. As for location, if you're going to a gig at Rock city, you won't be disappointed, it's literally just round the corner, a 2 minute walk if that! This place will be my go to hotel every time I go to Rock City. Definitely a 10/10 experience, I'd give more if I could (there's even a mini shop Essentialzzz if you need something during your stay).

Cost of overnight parking at time of booking. I knew I would have to pay but not the cost. It was £10 and extremely good value.

Not necessarily a negative but the toilet available if you turn up early or when you check out is the staff toilet rather than a customer one.
Close to the centre, literally round the corner for the concert but out of the way for noise. The car park was well worth it too Oh and they do gluten free croissants when you ask at reception for the next morning so this was a massive bonus

The staff are amazing, so friendly and approachable. We came for my boyfriend’s birthday and they upgraded us to the penthouse which was a lovely surprise! The complimentary breakfast is such a nice touch. Stayed here before and will continue to keep coming here!
